Ordering is very tedious
If you are building your own the process for doing so is very tedious, especially for a app on your phone. It would work fine in a computer. Too many drop down menus. Not sure how to make it more user friendly while still letting customers create their own donut masterpieces. I still love that I can order them in an app and pick up.

Great donuts, app and website are lacking
It is Wednesday and I tried to order dd this morning. The app repeatedly shows unable to connect errors while placing order. The website fails to complete placing the order. I tried calling and the recording says they are open Monday and Thursday. I happened to walk by and noticed a large line. I walked up and was able to order at the counter. If you are not accepting online order, perhaps say as much on the app/website. Don’t leave customers thinking there is an error.

Rewards points
We love duck donuts! The closest location to us is about 40 minutes away from us in Summerville SC, and we go out of our way to go to Duck once a month for a treat! That being said, it is rather disappointing how any rewards points you earn will be wiped out and lost, before you get the opportunity to go back and visit. It’s just not feasible for us to drive that far for a reward that will expire. I would truly encourage the Duck family to update their system to keep rewards points that you earn as stacked! We truly love Duck Donuts, but I feel this system needs an overhaul.

Like the app but room for improvement
Duck Donuts is the best of its kind! The app adds great convenience with their made to order style. It can take a little time in-store so it’s nice to be able to order ahead.
However, there is room to optimize. Choosing toppings is clunky so that interface is the big thing to work on. Other apps also have a more automated way to choose locations.

App never saves orders
The app rarely saves previous orders. Currently, my previous order tab is blank. This really makes it a pain because using the drop-down menu is not the easiest when trying to review the previous donuts made in the app. Additionally, I have to remain logged on the app on my phone because I cannot log on via desktop. The desktop version continues to say my login or password is in correct even after I update via my phone app. This has been going on for awhile and is very frustrating.

Brutal UX Trying To Make Your Own
I just gave up trying to make your own. My head hurt too bad trying to see which donut and topping I was on. I just couldn’t keep going…too infuriating. As others have said you should be able to mix in favorites and also duplicate your own creations.

Great service …. Little mix up on all the donuts I ordered, I realized I forgot a Box of 12 that I had ordered … for my daughter nursing job …when back in …Mark the manager straightened it out … and that wonderful girl put a holiday box of 12 together real fast …thank you so much !!

Amazing service and delicious donuts!
Every time my family and I come up to duck donuts in the rea farms area, we enjoy every minute of it! The service and vibes in the environment are incredible and their donuts taste like cake! Highly recommended to anyone who has a sweet tooth for some delightful donuts!

Duck donuts is my favorite donut spot! However, the mobile app format is a bit confusing when it comes to placing an order. It's convoluted and a bit jumbled, not a clean interface. I removed 1 star for that, but when it comes to the donuts, the best!!!!

Overly Complicated
You wouldn’t think ordering donuts would be difficult but, on the Duck Donuts app, it is. In fact it’s a nightmare. The UI is just poorly designed and overly complicated to the point you don’t even know if you’re ordering the rights donuts anymore.
Done ordering in Outer Banks
Happy to report that our family had an awesome visit to Corolla despite being unable to order our traditional Duck Donuts.
App would never even let us order…and due to large numbers of “in person” customers, we were discouraged from standing in your long long lines. Unwilling to waste hours of beach time for some donuts.
FYI…We had great success with ordering through your app in 2020 but since then, no luck. Sad, but we will survive without these donuts I guess.

Best donuts in East Cobb!
Made-to-order means ALWAYS fresh and warm! Such a treat. My favorite is the Cinnamon Sugar. Staff is friendly. You’ll wait a bit longer but I promise it is worth it!
Seasonal options
I love the donuts, but this app needs help. I suggested to the app developer to include more seasonal options probably a year ago at this point and no changes have been made.

Best Donut shop period!
I absolutely adore the location in Marietta off Johnson ferry. Not only are the donut makers friendly and helpful, the owner is really terrific and geared towards providing a fun experience. Though it is a franchise, don’t think for one second it’s like any of these basic Dunkin donuts or Krispy Kreme’s. I’d even say they compete with the more “high end” donut shops like 5 daughters, and Hero donuts. I ordered these for my bday picnic last summer and all my friends have been obsessed ever since!

Great donuts app needs improvement
Wish I could build boxed dozen donuts by being able to select from already created options including seasonal instead of having to build each donut.

Error messaging is not directive. Keep trying to order half dozen or dozen with chocolate icing and sprinkles and keep getting the “options you’ve chosen are not valid” error. Don’t think that is too complicated or complex but error messaging is not telling me what is wrong.
