They say you only have to turn it on once a month and the app would not allow anything to happen if your location is not “always on” . So basically it’s always on . I drive a friends golf cart to work as we are golf cart zone and it thinks I’m driving my car although I’m passenger or in the rear of the cart

13 mini iOS 26, does not have motion and fitness as an option. Motion is enabled and fitness is enabled but doesn’t have singular option for motion and fitness. App needs to go back to previous version, where it didn’t need this.

Mistakes involving driver vs passenger designation
This app is unbelievably inaccurate and has tagged me as the driver in many instances where I’m the passenger. Both my husband and I have been unsuccessful in changing the designations and talking to the company is useless, they are no help in correcting the mistakes. This is a very flawed app and its inaccuracy is disappointing to say the least. If I turn my phone to airplane mode when I’m not driving to avoid the hassle of being tagged as the driver it would be a big inconvenience. I shouldn’t have to do that. Fix the app please.

Not tracking my driving
The app is not tracking my driving which defeats the purpose of it running in the background. This needs to be fixed.
It works ok but needs improvement
The app works ok in terms of functions, but their grading/detection should be improved. First of all, it’s annoying to have grades based on time of driving, or at least they could give that a lower weight. And they don’t specify what’s the “optimal time for driving”. Secondly, their phone use detection is TOO sensitive. I live in a gated neighborhood and require phone to open the gate. Sometimes the app will report phone use when I’m just trying to open the gate. Also, when I go to a restaurant/shop to pick up an online order, and check the order status after parking the car, it will also sometimes report the phone use as well. Maybe they should make it less sensitive, especially when I’m not on a public road.

Could use some AI help
My work week commute is the same most days. I drive to a Park n Ride to/from home. The rest of the commute is bus, I don’t want to have to manually manage that daily.
Settings In need of attention
I’m not sure if this is new but my app has been tracking my driving fine. But now it is asking for motion and fitness and I go and try to enable it in settings. and there is NO option to. Then I search motion and fitness within settings and it shows apps that has asked for the permission to use it and Dynamic Drive is the only app that has not requested permission. Causing there to not even be an option to enable it. I can’t get any help on it and it’s frustrating.

App is backwards
I’m getting docked for using my gps, also if I even slightly go 5 over the limit I get docked points. I’ve had moments where the app picks and choices when to take points off for example I go on the highway a lot for work and I’ll do 65-70 mph and I wont get points taken away but then other times it’ll respond and call me out for speeding

The app is freezing when I attempt to use it and it’s giving me issues when I make 90 degree turns going faster than 5 mpr.

So sorry but All State should change this app. Even though my permissions are on, this app doesn’t work at all.

However, there is a catch: you’re monitored ALL the time, they track everything! They know EVERYTHING about you! It’s really scary. Did you look at their privacy policy? You’d better do: they track your genetics, pregnancy, biometrics, etc! Horror! They say they don’t collect anything if you’re abroad, but that’s a BIG lie, they do! Avoid this app and this company with all your might!

Cant use while in low power mode…
Literally the stupidest freakin thing ever but since I cant use the app while in low power mode ima just install it on my 2nd phone thats always charged while I text and drive with my main phone… great app absolutely smartest thing anyone could waste their time and money on

Can’t tell the difference between bicycling 41 miles vs driving. Also using Google Maps should not be counted as phone use.

This app is horrible. Multiple bugs. Won’t record all your trips. Hides all the ones with driving events that won’t even let you change. Horrible. Another scam from the insurance company.

It makes me want to change my auto-insurance company right away.
