Energy Monopoly

14% year over year rate increases so Duke can support data centers and increase profits. The worst type of company

Criminals

Duke energy is a criminal enterprise that is allowed to rob their victims (customers) at will. The government assists Duke Energy in their endeavors by giving subsidies to put up solar “farms” which the victims are then forced to pay for on their power bills too. There is a special place in hell for duke employees.

Your billing

Your billing process is a nightmare & very FRUSTRATING. I had selected auto bill pay date as 1st of every month when the account was set up in May. my June bill was for $94 with due date 7/31. Today I get another bill for $116 and auto pay is changed to 8/4. I hope the AUTO PAY DATE remains same going forward and I do not get bills for partial months going forward. All the supervisor did was apologize , did not mean anything as she could not fix the problem.

I sincerely hope that Duke energy leaves my auto pay date as 4th of every month going forward. & DOES NOT CHARGE ME FOR PARTIAL MONTHS going forward
