Customer service

When calling in today to make a payment, I was directed to a third-party who was trying to get my information to sign me up for something that was automatically deducted from my credit card. They would not pass me onto spectrum without providing information. I do not appreciate this. I was calling spectrum not a third-party. Very disappointed.
