The app itself works great but the company is greedy and overcharges and constantly tries to raise prices. It is a monopoly and I do pray that one day they get sued and forced to pay out for the things they have done. They raise prices for their mistakes like the contamination of waters and pole work…. That’s not the customers problem why not take that out of the pockets of the upper management making 6+ figures

Contacted you again twice regarding one of our 4 accounts this one at 959 20 18th St. North St. Petersburg apartment 11 the Bill is erratic. Nobody lives there air-conditioning was not even on when it first went up. I need someone to contact me. This is going on three months now.

Unable to transfer account
I move one town over in NC. Transferred my account and keep paying. Duke energy accepts my money but claims the account is closed and will not apply to my new account. Stupid and I spend time on phone trying to correct—UGH!

If you’re going to to charge me $500 per month for electricity then it needs to work!

There is about forty or so people in my area that every time it storms we have a 5-6 hour outage problem you would think they would do upgrade to prevent that, not Duke they just raise their rates. Not a happy customer

Every time the weather blows my power goes out. Trim the trees in The woods where power lines go go miles to my area

Very bad app. So cumbersome to make payments. Logging on with Google Chrome is much faster and easier

It won't allow me to sign in. I tried uninstalling the app and downloading it again to no avail. Duke Energy has some work to do.
Issues With App While Traveling
I’m surprised that as a multi-billion dollar corporation, that your app cannot function outside of the United States or with a VPN for a customer. Do you guys not beta test your app and website for functionality and operational diligence?
While on vacation, I needed to pay a bill and it proved impossible online. I finally give up and just called overseas back to the United States on a foreign cell phone. And even then it took forever to navigate to a real person. Truly disappointed. Duke Energy, do better please.

Estimating the amount of power I use compared to previous years and charging me the maximum amount is a crime.
