Sailing the BVI & USVI
I've been using this app for several years as I snorkel and scuba. We often have guests that want to know what they are seeing below the sea...this app has never failed me! Would give it more than 5 stars, if possible. Thanks!

Thanks, SuzTu! Let me know if you saw any fish that aren’t yet in the app and I’ll be happy to add them. Maybe I’ll do corals and creatures sometime down the line - John
Super Useful
Great app! It’s well-organized, has useful pictures for each fish and their phases, and the flashcards make it easy to learn.
Thank you!!!
Great app👍
Easy and informative!
I love the function of this app. I can quickly find what I’m looking for in a variety of ways—shape, color, name, etc. It doesn’t cover every species known to man, but does a great job of covering the fish you are most likely to see in the Caribbean. Easy to read. Not too much scientific mumbo-jumbo. I also enjoy the attached comments that give you additional info about size and behaviors. Thank you for creating an informative and easy-to-use app! Hope it continues to evolve. Would love to see it expanded to include the most common corals.

Thanks for the great review! I’ll think about adding corals, though might require another dive trip to the Caribbean :)
Not very useful
Only shows four kinds of rays, for example. I had hoped to use it to identify fish instead of carrying my Peterson’s guide but is a poor substitute for that.

Hi Gusmobile, Yes, this app pretty much shows just the basic fish, the ones most likely to be seen by ordinary snorkelers and divers. If you need more coverage, I can recommend the “Fishes: Greater Caribbean” app which has 1693 species, more even than the Peterson guide! It is put out by the Smithsonian and has a more scientific slant than this app, though it’s perhaps not as easy to use. :)
