THE APP DOESNT WORK
Abandoned app
Bought this on Amazon because thought this was a good deal for the price but I see through the comments that the app has long been abandoned by developers. Such a shame looks like it could have been a great app companion to the weight scale. For 12 usd can’t beat it. Connected using an android phone but like someone else said that it doesn’t remember your log in info or settings.

Stopped Working
I will never buy their products again as this is false advertisement if a buyer purchase a product that should be connected to an app which stops working shortly after buying it.
No memory
App SEEMS to work - but never remembers the settings, so every time I weigh myself it is as if it was for the first time, so I cannot keep track of my progress. Very disappointing that they have discontinued supporting this app.
Ugh, really?
I WISH I had read the app reviews before buying. Why buy a smart scale if there’s no where to send the data and no way to interact with it. As far as I’m concerned, a smart scale with no app is just a fancy paperweight. Guess I get to see how easy returns are…
Stopped working
The app no longer works. I’m glad someone else posted the same review. I contacted customer service who replied saying “uninstall and reinstall” Thanks for the support… I tried that before contacting you.
It was interesting to see comments about someone speaking with customer service and being told it was discontinued and a new app/scale being developed. They already did that once. Which is how I got this “new” scale (after throwing a fit!) that no longer works.
What a poor business model and customer service to go through this every 2 years. No more, Taylor products!

Great New Product and Does Not Connect
No connection to blue tooth, useless and app not updated for two years. What good is a scale that doesn’t measure? Totally disappointed after great reviews and hardware. And the literature says doesn’t return to retailer. Makes no sense.
Buyer Beware! This is NOT a smart scale!
Read the most recent reviews. If you purchased this scale to be able to track your results on your smart phone do not buy this product. The ‘smart scale’ functionality does not work and the software is no longer being supported. Additionally, the product has been discontinued. The scale worked ok and connnected to my iPhone 7 in the beginning but then would no longer connect or recognize my login credentials. The scale still works as a scale but without the connectivity that I purchased it for.

Discontinued
The app stopped working for me late February 2022. I called Support and was told that the developers knew about the problem and were working on it. Late March 2022, I called again and was given the same story. I voiced my surprise that a month had passed with no resolution. I was put on a brief hold, and upon return the support staff told me that they had discontinued the app. They offered a remedy of sending me a new scale, but their product line no longer included a scale with Bluetooth. They said they would report this problem to the app development team. I asked why they had a app development team for a discontinued app and was told that future scales would have an app. I asked to be put on the waiting list for that product and was told that was not possible. They suggested that I watch for a new scale with an app and then call them to request a replacement scale at which time they would make a decision. It seems pretty clear to me that they’re doing these gymnastics simply to generate more sales. Avoid this company!

Very bad experience
It was okay for a few months but would log me out of my profile and i wouldn’t beable to find any of my data but now it’s not even connecting to the board or letting me sign in

However today I looked in the corner and seen the scale and thought to myself I wonder if they ever fixed the problems. to my surprise they have a new app it’s been over a year since I tried to connect this crappy scale and I was starting to get the network error. most companies when they release a new app they make it compatible with the old stock especially if they want to abandon the previous app. Taylor did not do this. What Taylor did do (it’s probably one of the most dishonest and scummiest moves I have seen in a long time). Was abandon the hardware and the software/ The previous app was flooded and loaded with bugs rather than investing money in fixing it for the customers that had purchased the previous items. They researched the issues and then they abandoned the previous app altogether. Next they created a new app with a new scale and expect people to buy a new scale to use the new app. I understand that the scale still works without the app however the selling point for a smart scale is the fact that it connects to the app without it you have a regular scale and it wasn’t worth the money. especially keep in mind they have been in the product not even a month before I purchased it with no word to the public so that they would not purchase the old product. TBH I have no problem buying a new scale. I already have from a different company. What I will not do is condone this horrible practice. I do not promote companies that engage in the shameless behavior they have shown. A quick Google search will show you all you need to know about the SmarTrack app . if they did it once they will do it again. so be warned. I don’t want to see anybody get taken off guard like the myself and a multitude of other customers have been.

Works fine when you can connect
Works fine when you can connect. Suddenly today I am unable to login reset password or do anything. Makes up useless if you can’t actually login and see your data.
Works well, but...
Neat to have this body analysis scale. Mostly inconsequential, but "vacation mode" doesn't do anything; I get notifications every day on my vacation. The app otherwise works well. From a scientific perspective, I am curious if the figures are actually derived from electrical measurement, or if they are based on calculations.

Won’t connect or send me new password
It connect for one day to the app. After that it won’t let me log in/won’t even connect to Bluetooth. When I put in forgot password it says “there was an error resetting your password please try again later”....I’ve been trying for days, reset everything etc. worst scale and app connection ever. Not worth it.

EatSmart Performance app
I love this app! As someone mentioned, there was a period of crashing when I opened it.
However, after I downloaded upgrades for my iPhone, I haven’t experienced the crashes and it’s back to working.
I love having the accountability at my fingertips. Great app EatSmart!

Easy peasy
Love the daily reminders and the tracking against my goals! Feeling good, about the app, the scale, and myself.
App is useless
I used this app daily for a few months now and it used to be great. Since the update the app won’t open and just crashes
No way to delete
I like the app but there is no way to delete incorrect weights from the log. Tech support kept telling me there was but they were talking about the android app and they never got back to me. Hopefully the next update and I’ll change my review!
