What’s gone wrong?
I have been a loyal customer of eBay for years. The app is so unstable now and frequently doesn’t load. Iphone13 Pro and software up to date. Going to reinstall yet again in case that helps. EBay - you’re losing loads of custom it seems as I’m not the only one

Future buyers: Therapy isn’t included - for what you’re about to witness
Their policies give dishonest sellers too much room to stall (poor customer service) Long story short - short story shorter: it’s a waste of time because of a one sided policy. There is a cancellation request but the seller can just simply ignore it. You won’t get the refund your instincts and logical mind tell you should be obvious. Then you’ll have to wait maybe 2 weeks, if you’re lucky.

Doesn’t let you cancel a best offer for 48 hours
This is awful. I put in a best offer bid on an item and 12 hours later, radio silence from the seller. I’ve found other similar items for a better price but now I’ve found out I have to way 48 hours for seller to decide on offer?!? I’m ready to buy from another seller but don’t want two, so no purchase from eBay. There should be a one hour window for seller to decide, not 48!!!
The item does have free returns so do I need to play this game now, buy the better deal, return this one when offer accepted?!? Get your act together eBay.

App keeps freezing when selecting “my eBay”. Very frustrating!
