ECG Logger for Polar H10 User Reviews

Perfect

It is simple to use, does exactly what it states, is inexpensive to purchase, the author supports his product, and I have a feeling that this will only be improved in the future. Being a software programmer, this app has the feel of well designed software.

Doesn’t work & developer doesn’t return emails

I bought the app and my polar h10 is connected to my phone via Bluetooth, but won’t connect to the app. I’ve emailed the developer twice and waited over 10 days since first email. Do not buy

Use it almost everyday

I find this tool very handy in trying to monitor some recent afib. It has much more detail than an Apple Watch and the ability to record and show a doctor extended clips is awesome. Keep the app alive and up to date. I’m definitely a big fan. Thanks.

Thank you!

Simple and effective— does exactly what you need it to do.

This app is great. It was easy to pair my Polar H10 and log all of the raw ECG + RR intervals to a single output file saved on my iphone (easily airdropped to laptop). Thanks for including the Unix Epoch timestamp— this made working with the output data much easier!

Good app

Seems to do a good job from first view and fair enough to charge a small fee to record as the app is advert free. The reviewer complaining about this is being ridiculous.

A fantastic app and even better customer service!

This app is absolutely brilliant. It works perfectly and is exactly what I needed. There is nothing else like it in the App Store. It continuously (and reliably) records my heart data for as many hours as I need, and hasn’t had any glitches yet. I also love that I can save my files in .csv format or export them as .pdf files. I had an issue when I initially downloaded the app, and the app developer replied to me within five minutes after I emailed him a few days ago. He was extremely helpful and very kind as well. This app is wonderful and is a great deal as well. Thank you!!! I would leave ten stars if I could.

Hi! Thank you so much! I was happy to help.

Won’t restore my app purchase!!!!!

I just paid like $6 for this app and when it tried to charge me ANOTHER $5 to export the file as a pdf, I got a little upset and deleted the app. I decided to install and use the app again but when I hit the ā€œrestore purchaseā€ button, it didn’t work! This app STOLE $6 from me!!!!! I am so angry right now! 😔

Easy ECG data

I appreciate real-time monitoring with the Polar H10 and this app. (In comparison, my Kardia 6L has a bit of a lag.) And for me it was well worth the small payment for the recording feature, to get easy access to the underlying ECG data with no fuss.

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you for your positive feedback!

Want to record… Gotta pay for that… want to see your recording… that will be another payment…

They reel you in with one then you realise you also have to pay for the other.

Thanks for saving my life.

This may be a long story, but I’ll try to keep it short. I’ve had rhythm issues for a long time, and was always brushed off due to my age (started at 17, I’m now 37). Over those years, I fought to be heard and treated, since my family history holds a strong line of suspected sick sinus syndrome, afib, and valve disorders. Recently I tried a new cardiologist who advised me to invest in an at home wearable in order to catch my issues to send over to him, being pauses are very hard to find from a medical standpoint without some added help. After much research, I landed on the H10 due to its constant ecg capabilities. I ordered and when it arrived, I downloaded your app, put it on, and within the first four hours I caught a 5.2 second pause that I confirmed with Qaly, an ecg interpretation platform filled with cardiac telemetry specialists. A few days later, I lost consciousness briefly and caught an 8 second pause. This data was sent directly to my cardiologist, who was not only able to confirm my sinus arrest, but rush order a loop recorder implantation for me. I’m now awaiting reports to come back from my doctors office via this loop recorder in order to be fitted for a permanent pacemaker. I just wanted to say thank you. Even if we aren’t finished with the journey here, you basically saved my life. I’d give you a 50 star if I could.

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing such a personal story. I'm humbled to hear that my app could support you in getting treatment. I send you my best wishes for your recovery.

Excellent app

My experience is the app works perfectly. The app’s user interface is very nice. The paid version will allow you to download hours of 130 Hz ECG data in .CSV format that you can analyze to your heart’s content. The author was very responsive to my questions. If he writes a new version that lets me get the accelerometer data too, I’ll get it,

Thank you so much for your encouraging feedback! Much appreciated. I'll consider your request regarding the acceleration data.

One star

The app does not connect to the strap randomly for periods of days. The interface is not friendly. Not able to scroll around without the ecg logs jumping all over the place.

Response from developer

Hi! Sorry to hear you're having issues with the app! Please make sure other app aren't consuming H10's Bluetooth connection. In some cases also Apple Health app can use H10 and block the connection from ECGLogger app. If you're still having issues with the connection please send me an email and I'll try my best to solve the problem: matti.mononen@protonmail.com

Basic app

Just a basic app, better apps for polar H10 without the cost. Deleted it after I bought it.

Fails

Paid version. Fails to save files even though that option is selected. What’s up with that?

Response from developer

ECG Sampling Rate

The App works well with my Polar H10. But I want to know what the sampling frequency of ECG is. After my testing, I found the rate was about 130 HZ. Is it correct? Hope more descriptions can be included.

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Yes, you got it right, the sampling rate is 130 Hz. Feel free to connect me via email at matti.mononen@protonmail.com if you have any further questions.

Quick Developer Response
