Utterly Disappointing - Ecobank Online Fails Again!
I am beyond furious with the Ecobank Online app. This app has been a nightmare since day one, and the fact that the same login issues persist from reviews dated 2 years ago (OVA_42) and 9 months ago (Kenecob) with no fixes is absolutely unacceptable! I created an account, only for it to get locked shortly after. I visited a branch to reset my password and reported the problem, showing it to an agent on-site—same issue occurred right there with the newly created password after the reset! The agent’s advice? “Try again after some time.” On my third attempt, it finally logged in, and I quickly set up FaceID as an alternate login to avoid further hassle. It worked… until now. The app has forgotten my FaceID, demands credentials again, and rejects them as “invalid,” effectively locking me out of my own account again! 😪
This is outrageous. Two years of complaints about the same problem, and Ecobank has done NOTHING to resolve it. I’m not just disappointed—I’m livid. Banking with Ecobank was once a point of pride, but this app is a low blow I never expected from them. The lack of progress despite clear evidence of this ongoing issue is a slap in the face to users. Avoid this app until they get their act together, because right now, it’s unusable and has cost me time, effort, and trust. 😤

Can’t login
I have tried several times logging into the app but it doesn’t work.
Terrible
Terrible terrible app, if at all it even opens. Constantly loading, mobile money transactions are automatically changed to “airtime purchases” which never eventuate. Customer service is nonexistent.
App is mediocre
I just downloaded this app. Unfortunately after I enter login details, I am still unable to access the accounts details. Keeps asking me for the same login details. All my login are correct, I checked. I am very disappointed. Additionally performing any transaction with the account have been impossible. I am thinking of closing accounts with ecobank even now.
