Ego is now my only choice.
I bought my Ego self propelled lawnmower 4 years ago. It has exceeded all my expectations and the original 7.5 amp battery is going strong. It replaced my old Honda self propelled gas mower that was 8 years old. It was an excellent lawn mower.
My Ego is better, it packs the leaf bag tighter and cuts better. I now have 5 more Ego garden tools, a 3000 watt generator and a pressure washer on order. I just love the performance and build quality . I did try some of the cheaper lawn tools, not a fan of those. Ego can cost more but to me it is worth the extra expense to get the best

Convenient for users of everything EGO
It makes it easier to track what I have registered with ego for warranty purposes and if your tool has firmware updates it is super convenient for making sure functionality is up to date. The ability to monitor charging through the hub has been A+. Thank you ego for making such great product.

J’aime bien le principe de la lecture d’un code QR pour enregistrer un produit. Cependant, j’ai eu quelques difficultés avec le souffleur à feuilles et le coupe bordure dont le code QR ne fonctionnait pas; j’ai dû saisir le numéro de série manuellement
D’autre part, l’app nous permet d’enregistrer la facture de l’appareil. Cependant il n’est pas possible de visualiser plus tard cette facture ou la modifier. Ce serait bien pour ceux qui perdent leurs factures

Disappointed with Ego Connect app. Zero owner support now.
Ego’s iOS app and website support is not operational and I’ve received abysmal “hands are tied”, sorry…sucks to be you, customer support. I own 3 EGO tools, with chargers and batteries. All had been registered successfully using the Ego Connect App/Website.
Potential purchasers should know that an Ego tech support rep told me today 8/11/2026 that Ego will no longer offer any further WiFi connectivity or tech support to their battery chargers. This is not a warranty matter, also, I was curtly told.
I used to be able to monitor my charge process, battery health and battery history for my ego 10amp hour ego battery health. This was useful info. Now 4 months later, zero support, zero company care.
I wish there was a way the Ego owner community could put pressure on the company to invest in continuing existing customer software support.
Mower, trimmer, blower, batteries work great. Lack of previously provided operational tech support for their website and iOS app, nothing. Be advised before you buy.

Wow is an understatement this machine is a cutting beast! The video’s doesn’t do the size justice. And the best part for the size it is amazing light and easy to move. Amazing mower!

Ego app contained all my needs very organized
Charge timer was added but…
Have been working with customer service to try and get my app to work correctly. The charge timer is a great add the program. However, it only sometimes works, and as far as I can tell, it’s only been if I have used the mower down the point where the blade shut shuts off. I’m also being asked to look at my runtime information in the app, but there is no place where I can find it even when given instructions by customer service. Not sure what’s going on, because the app is fully updated, and has been kept updated the entire time we’ve owned the mower.

Almost perfect
Would give it 5 stars if it just had the option to open up on a favorite machine or to complete the start of the lawn mower upon opening. It is annoying to have to click to a different section, then scroll to my lawn mower, enter it, then tap the key icon just to turn on the mower every time. Other than that it is dependable and works well without ever crashing.

I tell anyone who will listen about how great all ego tools are lawnmower, snow overs, Weedwhacker, and I want to get a chainsaw. I love every piece of equipment that I have that you guys make. I even talked a guy who I didn’t even know into getting the most expensive eagle lawnmower great products I’ve never changed

Misting Fan with Bluetooth 🤯
This fan was purchased for the dugout full of sweaty boys, and when I went to register it I discovered I could operate it from my phone?! This is a fantastic fan, with a great misting feature and an app so I can turn it off when the boys leave it on while they are on the field?! Amazing.
Disappointed by mandatory Wi-Fi for chargers
I am very disappointed with the rigid connectivity requirements of the EGO Connect app for battery chargers. The app completely blocks local Bluetooth-only usage and forces users to enter their home Wi-Fi password. It is completely reasonable to want to keep smart devices off a private home network for security and privacy reasons. Forcing internet access just to check a battery status through an app while it would be easy to allow a Bluetooth-only connection is unacceptable. EGO needs to update the app to allow a Bluetooth-only dashboard option. Until then, I am deleting the app.

Ease of use
I just got done registering everything battery battery charger and mower. Very easy to set up. Pull it out the box and with the handle I was trying to scan the QR code on the box, but you have to scan the item itself. It’s a real small QR code but once I figured that out, everything was good to go. I was duped by the Lowe’s employee told me that I would get a free battery after five years. After I got home and set everything up. I did some research on the free battery and found out that was a myth, but that’s on Lowe’s not on ego I’ll write another review after I use it a bit.
