App is garbage!
Once upon a time, I could easily file claims for my pets in the app. The process was so quick and easy. Now, neither the app nor the website work. The app won’t even show my pets! All claims have to be emailed, and it takes at least a week for them to even acknowledge receiving it. This has been the case for months. They clearly have no intention of fixing the app, yet they continually push out useless updates. Garbage!

Horrible App
No matter how many updates they do to the app, it still does not work. None of my pets ever show on the app. I cannot submit claims using the app since my pets never show. This has been going on for a couple of months now. And when I contact customer support, all I get in response is that they are working the problem. Yet the app keeps getting updated and the problem still exists.

Unable to load claims
This app has not loaded or accepted claims since late June 2026. A once easy QUICK process, I am now tasked with submitting claims via email for a chronically ill pet. I was always a huge fan of Embrace and the support of insurance for our last 5 pets. I have no idea what is happening with the Embrace app and can only say what a shame the service has become. I expressed my concern to the company and have been asked to submit claims by email.

Bad app
Fix your app and website asap! I cannot submit claims and technical support says they don’t see an issue. App says technical difficulties and then the webpage says my dog doesn’t exist. I can’t submit my claims anymore and it’s so frustrating
App does not actually allow Face ID or 2FA
Unfortunately, despite having Face ID turned on, and both my cellphone number AND email in the account, the app will not text me the security code, nor will it utilize Face ID to login. It will send the 2FA code by email, eventually.
Helpful and Prompt
We’ve been clients of Embrace for around four years now, and this is our first major claim. Claim was for the initial vet visit for tibia and fibula fracture of our kitty. Happy to say, the claim was submitted and within five days we had our deductible acknowledged, and a check was sent. A good outcome so far. Next, we submit the claim for surgery, which was seven times the expense of the initial visit.. hoping for a good outcome there as well. I’m just grateful I can say now that we have pet insurance with Embrace! Thank you!

Technical difficulties
Been trying to file a claim for days. Ap has ‘technical difficulties’. Website won’t upload correctly. Keeps saying no pet covered. It’s for wellness and is covered immediately. Thankfully , I’m still within my cancellation window and that’s what I’ll be doing. Very disappointed.
App is broken
The app has been broken for months. I called customer service and they said it was fine on their end so they didn't see the problem. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and checked the web browser. None of it works. I would like to see my pets policies and information.
Ever since the update I cant use the app
After logging in I can't use the app at all! The thing just doesn't register anything I press, the app is so broken!
Broken App
This app has become garbage. I have not been able to use the app, or even the website, to submit claims for almost two months now. Sure, I can submit claims via email; however, that process is painfully slow. I keep sending emails and messages about the issue, but for the most part, I get no response. For a while there, I actually thought that Embrace went out of business. It seems like they have stopped caring if their app works or not.

App doesn’t work!
Please update the app to make all of the features available. I can’t add a new pet in the app or on your website. This is super inconvenient and there are so many recent reviews of people having the same issues.
The worst insurance ever
I made six claims for my two cats. None of those were reimbursed because they missing “full pre-policy medical history”. And this was my first visit to vet. There ain’t no history I could provide. So I guess people can use this insurance only after year of paying them. Worst insurance ever.
Would not recommend
We have been with embrace for over a year. We filed a few claims about 30 days ago. Embrace still hasn’t processed them. If we email about it, it takes a week for anyone to get back with us. Then it’s generic answers. When we call, we’re on hold for over 25 minutes before reaching someone. When the answer, they don’t help, the person just said, “wait another week.” Would highly recommend going with another company that has better customer service and response times.

Unable to submit claim
I tried to submit a claim for wellness which I have bought the insurance for but no matter what I typed in the reason for submitting a claim, it wouldn't let me to move to the next step. I tried submitting another claim for an injury, same result.
Still Non-functioning after Spring 2026 update
I used to use this app all the time to submit and check on my claims. Since the latest update with the logo change, the app is completely unusable. I cannot tap, swipe or do anything after logging in. I wish I could use it because it looks like a nice update! iPhone 13 Pro. Review updated July 2026. Still non-functioning. Otherwise great insurance and service!

great way to waste money
my pets condition was 100% supposed to be covered per my lawyer. they will delay your claim and after they recieve enough monthly payments from you, they will deny it.

The Embrace app makes it so easy to submit claims. Typically, I can submit them in less than five minutes.
Unusable
After the most recent update this app is completely unusable. Every time I open it it’s frozen and I can’t even tap on anything.
