Disappointing
Disappointed with the app as whenever clicked on it, it was telling me to sign up to a plan. A Budget app offering expensive monthly plans rather than a one off forever payment.
If there was a one off payment, I would reconsider the app

Scam!!
Feels like a scam, an app that’s designed to help you save money is constantly asking you to pay for premium which is extortionate. It also hides them in really sneaky ways and is not clear when it’s asking you to pay for premium - glad I avoided it but I can see a lot of people accidentally signing up and paying £180+

Very helpful!
Emma is pretty chill
Eye opening
Makes it so much easier to see what’s happening with my money and also helps to save automatically
Easy to invest - slow to withdraw
You would think in today’s age that after requesting a trade to sell your shares would be almost instant, nope - 3-4 days later. Finally trade goes through, then you would think that when you finally have to money available to withdraw back to your bank account, it would be instant. Guess again. Fine - I can half appreciate a £50 trade having to be manually reviewed and sold in person, but then you have to wait a further X days just for the £50 to go back in your bank. Other than that a nice little platform to use. There are bigger, better and quicker platforms to use so 2/5 stars (that’s 4/10) so do some research first. 4.7 average review seems over-inflated. Perhaps, people are reviewing their constant pop ups asking to sign up and then misleading I AGREE to not want it type of wording or the over inflated prices of their “savings platform” guys. If you want this product at 10% of what they advertise, just keep saying no to the paid version and then they keep giving you better and better prices. Don’t trust me though, go make the mistake by yourself, it’s the best way to learn

Helping Managing my Money
Emma app has helped me get my spending back under control, it helps me focus on my spending, it very flexible and easy to use
but like does it have to be that many 'are you sures' to cancel a subscription
honestly
No way to cancel
I’ve spent over 5 minutes trying to cancel my trial and there’s no obvious way to do it. Feels like a scam!
I try to go to support, no one answers..
I go to delete my account and it says cancel subscription first—and takes me to the same run-around subscription upgrade section with no clear way to cancel.
Terrible experience. Apple, please investigate them!

Deleted the app but it still attempted to take money out my bank account
Worst banking app in existence
Used to be brilliant years ago when it was very simple and very straightforward now it’s a constant hard sell.
Dishonest, steal your money, make everything a chore, constantly nag you to use extra features you don’t need or want, don’t even support Chase UK, and have temerity to offer extremely low savings rates. Scummiest, griftingest company I’ve ever encountered.

Cancellation
During the cancellation process the app asked me if I’m sure I wanted to cancel about ten times before completeing!
Money takers
Keeps trying to charge me for a pro plan that I don’t have! Nothing but a scam

Not a budget app
Don’t use this app for the intention of budgeting, you pay a subscription with the primary benefits being financial products you can mostly get for free or better rates on. Transactions are frustratingly mis categorised. Switch banks and immediately it’s confused dispute closing the previous one. For free it’s okay, but there are better apps etc for budgeting

Really good budgeting app
I have used this app for a couple of years to capture all the different categories of spending across multiple accounts. The customisation allows you see the spending in the right categories. With the ability to exclude certain categories.
Highly recommended for people wanting to keep track of the spending.

Awesome
I love the analytics and how easy it is to see the percentage split of how you spend!
Renewal bugging
I went to cancel my annual renewal (£90!) before it paid for another year, and I had to go through at least 10 different screens asking me if I’m sure if I want to cancel. The “No, I don’t want to cancel my renewal” option is coloured a brighter colour so you’re more likely to press it, which was extremely irritating. Won’t ever consider again.

Very good support from Sam
He helped me sort out an issue and I’m very glad it’s now fixed all praise goes to sam for making my day!!
Maybe it’s great, maybe it’s terrible
Never got the OTP to sign up, couldn’t connect to an agent on chat. I obviously have network as I can leave this review.
Trial offer
Didn’t mind using the app and was happy for the trial period to tip over to allow a subscription - however the app automatically puts you on it’s yearly plan, so ends up taking north of £80 rather than putting you on a monthly subscription. So much for budget planning.
