Bug fixes for syncing blood pressure measurements to the app with users on iOS 16.4+

Bluetooth issues / one answer

I continued to investigate the Bluetooth connection issues. I continued to ask why some users have issues and others don’t. I think the app must use the same path as connected sports watches, e.g., Apple, Garmin Forerunner. I have found that if I turn off the watch’s BT connection, reboot the phone/iPad, and then establish a connection to the monitor, after a few attempts, it works. It is not a guaranteed first time success. But it should happen in 5 attempts vs. 50.

I would recommend not having any other BT connections when you want to upload from the monitor. The app is still weak in this area, but I can get there relatively methodically.

Just started using app

It’s easy to use but I would like to see an update where erroneous data can be deleted from the phone; it’s easy enough to delete from the machine but not the same data from the phone app.

At home BP monitoring

I bought this because I am a nurse and I recently had 2 doctor appointments and both times my BP was high. I want to monitor my BP at home to see if it was just a fluke or it is really high, so far I have been able to use this product by myself and I love that it records to my phone through Bluetooth so I can share with my doctor next time I go! It is very user friendly as well!

Best BP APP

I bought the Equate blood pressure monitor due to my blood pressure going critical and my Doctor wanting me to take it every day. I have been going to him and cardiologist every two weeks for two months. They like this app also because I can show them exactly what my readings are because it is so easy to sync with phone. It gives me a report and is very thorough. So glad I bought it!

Poorly Integrated with Apple Health

I bought this BPM because it integrated with Apple Health. It does not do this correctly.

The primary and secondary users of the device shouldn’t both be synced to Apple Health. Why would two independent users ever want to have their data merged in the Heath app?

All records improperly use the time that it was added to Apple Health as the time that the sample was recorded. This means that in order for the Health app to contain accurate data the recordings need to be synced immediately.

Further, the app often has difficulty syncing with the device.
