Good, but not competitive rates
The Eurochange travel money card is good for loading various currencies for travel through different countries. BUT, two disadvantages are firstly, UNCOMPETITIVE RATES, eg Euro rate on card 1.1438 compared to Eurochange online Euro rate for cash of 1.150.
Secondly, You are charged 1.50 or 1.75 Euro for cash withdrawals at an ATM, where the similar Sainsbury’s travel card offer free ATM withdrawals abroad.

Great app
The app makes it so easy to see your balance, add money to your card and see where you have used it.
Resetting password is a nightmare
Despite getting all green ticks next to my password credentials, it took 3 attempts, deleting the app and downloading it again, before my new password was accepted. Ridiculous.

I found this card a great way to spend money while abroad without worrying about charges. I was able to use the card just like any other contactless card and could track my spending on the app. It was also very easy to top up the card when I needed more foreign currency.

Regularly logs out of app
Had to reload app 3 times now on different occasions as will constantly go to forgotten password screen. You cannot get off this without requesting new password that you don’t need. Once you do as it asks the email for new password does not come through even if email address is correct and confirmed. When it works however I can see how useful this could be once the errors have been addressed. Will try another app next time I travel.

App not great!
The app bumps you out regularly with a screen saying ‘forgotten password?’ Which you can’t get passed without changing the password. Really inconvenient! Have deleted the App and reinstalled so will hope for an improvement!
Looking for better exchange rate
I got better rate locally compared to the rate I received from the euro exchange branch. I wish I would have searched more before but it’s easy to use online and accepted widely
Keeps locking me out
Although it is easy to add money to this card when in the UK. When I have been in Singapore I have twice had to contact customer services to unlock the app for unknown reason! This in only a 3 day stay!
