Pretty useless
Just a pretty useless app. Went to plug in. Doesn’t say if connector is 1 or 2.
Doesn’t use Apple Pay which means you have to type in details.
Encouraging people to have an RFID card is not the way.

Too hard
1. Pasting from a password manager does not satisfy complexity requirements

Bad app
I have to reinstall app every time I need to use - unfortunately many of chargers around here are ev dot!!
Useless thing!
This is absolutely as useless as a rubbish. The app cannot event open properly, not even mention to use! Does the company event exist?
Terrible App
Doesn’t take advantage of any Apple Pay etc. sign up was such an awful process too. And it’s also so slow. Selecting a charger on the map takes an age to load. And topping up an account? Why can’t you PAYG. Hire some decent developers, work on the user flow and start again

Giving one star as zero not an option! Cumbersome to sign up and chargers not even displaying on location map, although they are lit and look as if they should work. Appalling service.
Shame the app has to many flaws
The app is so unstable , I discovered after long long suffering that I have to launch the app twice to make it work because first time you launch it you get a ghost of an app you cant log in and you can’t do anything and believe me it aint a coincidence because apparently lots of people know this.
I am surprised they can’t come up with a fix for such a simple yet annoying problem. Last time they updated the app was 1 years ago !!!

Awful but essential
I recently bought an EV. The car is amazing and I love all the gadgets but this app makes using the EVDot chargers a complete nightmare.
I have to charge regularly using an EVDot charger on my road and WOW, this is probably the worst app I’ve ever used.
I try to pay using my bank card, the app crashes. I try scanning the QR code on the charger, the app crashes. I try topping up, the app crashes. It takes me 10 minutes just to get this stupid app working so I can charge the car.
FIX this app!! You’re making this way more painful than it needs to be.

Absolute Rubbish
Whitstable- charger has no indication of which is no 1 or No 2 connector. Installed the app plus bank details only to be constantly asked to input bank details again and again…called customer service. Operative failed to work out why it wasn’t charging then cut me off. Called back 5x but no one had the decency to reply. Gave up and went elsewhere. The only thing that worked was taking £30 prepayment from my bank account. Surprise surprise….DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID EV Dot…

* RFID card only works off of balance, not the card stored in the app, but does not tell you so, you need to sleuth that out - fun (not)
* Obscures the WiFi and Mobile network status icons - which is appalling
* Seems to have been tested only on Gigabit WiFi or full 5G, not on a poor 3G connection on a rainy and blustery back street, when the app actually is completely useless and seems to hang with no progress indication at all to eventually time out and inform that there seems to be no Internet connection - duh!

* No credential infill

Don’t know why they bother
In Canterbury there’s no signal to download the app. If you get lucky enough to download it there’s no Apple Pay or any other 21st century assistance. They don’t bother answering phone either. Just buy a Tesla and use super chargers!
Main functions work
A lot of reviews focus on the lack of auto fill on the forms which is annoying but a one-off exercise. On its main function of charging my car it worked fine.
Useless
Doesn’t recognise my car which is an I4 (not on the list). Couldn’t approve email address and app just doesn’t work. Frustrating as this is based at my place of work. Had to phone their help desk to get the car charged!
Time out on charger location
Used this app three times and twice it hasn’t let me assign the charger it just times out. Rubbish

Can’t even create an account as it keeps saying my password is not complex enough. Utter rubbish. Would give zero stars if I could.
Close to useless
M_ash hit most of the important points here - an app written to not use any of the modern features of iOS. No assistance filling forms. No strong password suggestion. No Apple Pay. Add to that the app telling me I’m offline when I wasn’t, it isn’t reporting device status correctly (2x 2 port machines where it claims each has one working and one broken port, when in reality only one working port total).
Generally a mess. Companies think setting up chargers is trivial but time and again they show what a pigs ear they make of it. I imagine within six months the chargers will be abandoned or rebranded by another cowboy outfit.

Way too complex sign up process
Sign up process is way too complex and cumbersome. For some reason there is no support for auto fill on all the registration forms, so slow manual input only. No support for iOS strong password suggestion/auto fill. Then you need to register a payment method. No support for Apple Pay, or scanning a credit card. Slow manual input only. Simply not worth the effort.
Other major problem is that the app lists CCS charge point as available but according to help line it cannot be used at same time as a/c so charge won’t start
