Doesn’t work for international users
As other reviewers have noted, this simply doesn’t work for international users.
The onboarding / registration process fails on the app and on the web. And the primary reason is because they fail to deliver any SMS messages.
You can try using “+” in the mobile number or “00” - neither will work. You get a limited number of attempts per day and then you’re locked out of the process.
If you use the web site to register - it’s the same process.
And when you call, you get an automated AI menu that can’t understand any of the information it asks you to provide about the vehicle and has no fallback to an actual human.
Your only hope is to find a parking machine that allows you to bypass using RingGo altogether and just pay for the parking on the machine.
I fully expect another automated response to this review empathizing with my frustration and promising to take the feedback seriously.

As expected, the developer provided a boilerplate answer with an explanation that is belied by the facts in my review. I tried both international number formats in the app and on the web. My phone plan has unlimited international voice & data and international SMS messages from other senders were reliably delivered.
In case it helps anyone else, the solution I found was to use the Chat feature on the website, type “registration” and then type “agent” repeatedly until you get a human. The human will tell you the app doesn’t work for international users (!) and will ask for your info, and will set up your account and add your international phone number (in the “00” format!). You then log in via the RingGo website (not the app!) and pay for your parking.

Could not register
Downloaded app and waited in vain for 6 digit verification code to be delivered. Tried twice and gave up. The ‘help’ on offer gives a number to call to book parking. That’s no help at all really is it. I’m sure this is a useful app but I’ll never know, bit of a waste of time really.
Despise that I have to download an app to park
Ridiculous that you can’t just pay cash.
Be Aware of session errors!!!
Got a PCN due to a session error. Clicked to confirm the session and put my phone away only to come back to a ticket. When I opened the app it said an error had occurred. Honestly poor considering they’ve all but eliminated the ticket machine leaving you with only ringo. Also pay by phone in an underground car park with no signal? Genius idea.

SMS verify code not coming thru
The SMS verification code isn’t coming through when you attempt to set up an account. Very disappointing!
