Fine
The nearby car parks feature and a similarly named carpark has gotten me a £45 fine! Probably should just pop up ones you’ve used before instead of some botched nearby feature that gets people fined. Learnt my lesson.
App broken
Times out constantly when trying to register or login or even forgotten password. Particularly frustrating when you finally find a parking space but you can’t pay for it. Get the app working properly. It’s not hard!
Cannot register
I can’t register without a UK number and the local machines at the car park are of service. I tried on the site and on the app.

Great way to make paying for parking more complicated. At least my data is being harvested
Beware of scams
I just used the app for 1st time as area I parked in had no pay by cash machines. Within seconds of making payment I received a text from ‘parking eye’ stating my payment hadn’t got through and asking me to click a link to try again to avoid further charges. Checked my banking and it had gone through. On clicking the link the parking charge was now £6 more and something didn’t seem right and realised it was a scam. It’s very worrying that within seconds of giving Ringo my contact number I’m getting scam messages. Spoke to RingGo chatbot snd get spiel that I shouldn’t worry as my details are secure. Evidently not!
