Atrocious
Had to pay for parking at London Heathrow and the app does not allow a foreign number to be registered. At an airport. Where you’d normally expect a decent number of foreign visitors who probably have foreign phones rather than UK ones. Nothing short of a con.
Completely usless
Impossible to register. Filled in email, phone and password, sent me a code via text, enter the code, gives a none useful error. Lets you do the text 3 times, 3 errors, completely impossible to register, completely useless.
Good luck parking if you don’t have a UK phone.
I tried to register but it won’t send me a registration code. Perhaps the problem is that it requires an SMS and doesn’t seem to contemplate that some people without UK cell phones may need to park while traveling. I entered a non-UK cell phone with country code and never got a registration code. My meter doesn’t accept other apps but with other apps I’ve had the chance to list my country before entering my phone number.

Frustrating app
The last three times I have tried to park, I have had repeated error notifications when I go to payment. I know my cards/bank accounts are all fine. The only solution seemed to be to delete the app and reinstall which is just annoying.
Can’t register
Literally can’t register to pay. Useless app. I have a data only plan as I’m visiting from overseas and cannot call the number the developer told me to. Still useless.
Not user friendly
I cannot for the life of me find a way to add favourites anymore. I have done it multiple times in the past but it’s no longer possible. Very irritating.
Appalling customer service
Ringo is not investing enough in customer service. You will get no help if you run into a glitch with the automated payment system. Just an ai message telling you to do what you’ve tried doing countless times. This company doesn’t care ££££
Never actually worked
I just can’t register. I’ve tried on multiple occasions. I put in my phone number and literally *never* get a confirmation code. I’m sure it’s not just me
How are you still in business
Last time I tried to use the service it completely failed to reset my account password, that was 2 years ago and hoped things have changed. Sadly it looks like they got worse. Not only did the app failed at resetting my account but it is currently trying to send a SMS to my email. Fix your app.
Does not work for US numbers
This is the dumbest app ever. Only sends verification codes via text and texts to US numbers apparently are not going through because we tried as zillion times and never got a code. You would think they would also send codes via email but they don’t. Useless app if you don’t have a UK number. Get it together Ringo developers!

Literally can’t register to pay. Useless app.
Buggy
I deleted this app with delight when I left the UK a couple of years ago. I have now moved back and was very sorry to download it again. Of course I immediately got an error message as soon as I tried to either login or register as a new customer. That matches my previous experiences. I wish Scottish councils would just use contactless - the choice between coins that no one carries or this app is absolutely rubbish.

Useless for international, but needed for tourists
I am at a parking lot in Windermere and they only take ring go. Downloading was hard enough, but it has never sent a code to my phone number and I’ve tried as many times as I can. Had someone with a British number try and also no message. The the only support is a phone number that ‘this call can’t be completed’. So I guess we won’t park? This is a heavily tourist area it is irritating that this app can only be used (in theory) if you have a British phone number. We would like to just pay for parking instead wasted an hour of our holiday trying to figure out this app before giving up.

Only works with UK mobile
Update: RingGo did reach out by email to my request for help saying you need to have the country code included (+1) from a mobile. However it doesn’t work still.
I can’t set up a profile as it won’t send the set up code to a Canadian number.
Heads up travellers make sure to get some change early in arriving.

What a waste of time! Why on earth counties use guys is beyond me. It never works it’s an endless circle. Delete account fill in details repeat. Get your act together please

This app says “No Network ConnectionAvailable” whenever I try to use it which makes it less than useless. I couldn’t recommend it to anyone, just pay at the machine.

Failing app with elementary interface fails. App unable to load locations so simply does not work.
UI to add payment card does not allow for capturing data via camera.
Surely the simpletons developing this could simply have copied any other app (like Uber) that does this.

The app and website do not allow you to register by email or non-UK phone number. They need to finally fix this!!!!!!!
