The app asks me to leave a review every time I log in.
App maintenance
This app seems to have been under maintenance for over a week and hence no one could logon. I had to delete and reload to get it working

Keeps crashing.
The App crashes each time I try to look at my portfolio.

What is the value in pointing your clients towards an app to keep them up to date with their investments if the very portfolios they want to see the detail of makes the entire app crash each and every time you try?

Very basic, crashes on me. No support.
I’ve recently moved to Evelyn from another platform after my FA was acquired by them: although the service I receive from my FA is good. The app currently crashes when I try and access any of my funds. I’ve been repeatedly told that IT/Dev will reach out but have heard nothing. This just isn’t good enough in 2024. Even when the app worked - I was pretty underwhelmed. Do better Evelyn

You should be able to send messages via this app, you can’t as the drop downs don’t work to select a recipient.
Update for iPad
The latest update says that it improves the app for iPad users - far from it. It won’t open at all, just a black screen. I’ve removed it and uploaded it again, I’ve checked my iPad is up to date. Still not working. This is just another in the long saga of completely amateur tech from Evelyn. Useless.

Echoing the sentiments of every other reviewer, this iteration is garbage. The older app for Tilney was far far better, not because it was a great app, but because it was actually useable and useful. This app is terrible
It gets worse with each bug fix
This was a poor app but with the latest upgrade, sooty can’t call it that, downgrade the app will not even open . So poor

Quicker than portal to login as it doesn’t need the hassle of an email code.
Being an app the reporting screens are not wide enough to allow a drill down into an investment's price and performance so it’s basically a handy update tool.

Astonishingly bad
It is quite amazing to me that a such a big company can make such an awful app (not once, but twice!). Who are they paying for this? Most of the charts read right to left, which makes me wonder if a human actually bothered to test this before releasing. The content, design and usability is just so, so bad.
I’m taking my portfolio elsewhere and the lack of effort in this app displayed over years by Tilneys and now Eveylen is at least partly why. For shame

Beyond belief
Both this app and the web portal are completely useless and no amount of excuses and promises can disguise the fact that this was a massive misstep. Clients are paying for this incompetence and Evelyn seem to have lost sight of the needs of their customers. Such an underdeveloped amateur product should never have been allowed to go live. Bring back the previous app and web portal until you can at least replicate that before introducing something new.

Quicker than the old app
This version is much easier to log into compared to the old version, where I had some difficulties logging in.
