Rooting for this ring tracker
I am really rooting for this to tracker, but it’s just not reliable. I sent two emails to support today. And I am hoping that they will help me or fix the problem. Most notable I cannot get the ring updates which is probably the main cause of all the issues. First, it’s just slow. Period. But beyond that at the moment I cannot see my steps on the main page of the app. Even though it is recording this. And second, I cannot change my sleep and wake time because it is showing an error message. So that is never correct. In no particular order the most important points for me are sleep, steps, calorie burn/activity. Sleep is inaccurate because of the error message. I cannot see steps unless I drill into the app and calorie burn/activity is so slow, I could walk a mile in the time it takes to update. I so wanted to live this ring tracker and I am rooting for the company to make this right and fix their overall performance issues. I hate writing this review but maybe it will be read by the company. Currently I am not a happy Evie ring wearer.

App crashes
The app wouldn’t stay open
Loved it until it broke
I’ve now received 4 rings from evie because my ring breaks every 4 months or so. At first i thought it was water damage so I stopped wearing it in water. Then I thought it was damaged from lifting weights or sweating so i took it off for that even though that’s a main reason why I have it. The evie team has been great sending me new rings for free, but it’s frustrating that I have to replace the hardware quarterly and then it takes a month to ship so I lose a month of data each time. Also, the app is now incorrectly tracking my period which is another key reason I have the ring. I don’t know if this is a temporary bug or what but super frustrating when the main reasons i bought the ring aren’t functioning properly.

Where are the updates and development
Why have there not been improvements or updates? There should be way more mood and symptom options by now and there are no fields for intimacy tracking. My ring says I’m on version 2.5.11, but the App Store says there is a 2.6.4. Why won’t my ring update? Very disappointed in the development. Flo app is leaps and bounds better and it doesn’t even require a ring.

I love the ring but…
It bothers me that I can’t see my data more than a couple weeks back (I’ve had an Evie ring for a year and I have no idea where the data goes, nor can I find in their user guide or on the web why I can’t see ALL my data. Help?)
Additionally, it would be much better/have more useful data if I could log sleep manually. Sometimes it doesn’t get my sleep (and yes, the battery is charged!) but most often, I have a hard time falling asleep. On a Fitbit I can change the start/stop time for sleep, which is useful as it then is tracking when I go to bed in addition to when I “fall asleep” per ring metrics, which is useful info to have for us insomniacs (a day I go to bed early and can’t fall asleep has differing issues than a day I stay up late and fall asleep right off … this is important to share with my doc as I try to figure out sleep issues!)
Lastly - battery life is not awesome but I finally caved and just charge it every day pretty much and it keeps up.
Otherwise, it’s beautiful, comfortable, tracks relatively well, and I prefer it to other wearables despite these downsides. Please, Evie/Movano - give us some updates! ❤️

Had potential
At first I loved my ring, and because I knew it was a new product I expected hiccups, but the user interface and the flaws of the ring itself, on top of the lack of proper customer support it was a flop. I hope they can try to make it better but they have to be willing to do the work
I Think Not
Compared to my old Motiv Ring this is an awful “upgrade”. I’ve had this ring for almost a year and the battery life on it is non existent now. It doesn’t connect to my phone or register to it without being on the charger and that’s only after an hour of usage. The app itself is fine……but the product steer clear. Try another market smart ring. If I could find a could Bluetooth pedometer I would trade this ring in a heart beat.

Experience is defined by bugs
The ring doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work. The entire experience is basically garbage. I can’t believe they even launched this into the world. I want to be kind, but I feel I’ve been scammed. They should’ve focused less on the visual design and hired better engineers.
Disappointing
I was drawn to this by the nice design and the promise that it was tailored to women’s health. However it doesn’t really deliver on any aspect.
I was recently trying to get pregnant and while it did allow me to track my cycle, it didn’t consistently track my temperature and also didn’t give any real time temp info which needs to be tracked for ovulation.
Once I got pregnant there’s no way to tell the ring that. It still prompts me to ask if my period has started. Kind of infuriating that pregnancy isn’t factored in at all.
Workout tracking doesn’t work well at all. Half the time it says I burned 17 calories in an hour. Step tracking seems to be accurate.
The AI tool is more frustrating than useful and the “insights” are laughable, basically recapping my steps per day/week etc. No insights as to how my tracked lifestyle factors impact my HRV or sleep quality or anything like that.
People comment on the ring all the time and I just sheepishly tell them I like how it looks but it’s basically a $300 step tracker.

2 replacements, never worked more than a few months. Poor costumer service
Bought the ring, had charging issues after a few months. They replaced it no problems. It happened again. They replaced it no problems. But the third time, the said “ sorry, you only have so many replacements, you’ve used all of yours. But you can buy a new one” Hmm, buy a new ring that won’t work? No thanks.

Ring’s Cute
I like the ring itself, but I feel like the app is so bare bones — I expected a lot more. I returned the ring and keep coming back here to check for updates but it doesn’t look like there have been any improvements. Hopefully there will be updates and expanded capabilities so that I can purchase again.

Deleting review
I definitely reviewed this when I first got it - amazing they’re trying to say they only have 4 reviews. I’m on my fourth replacement ring. The previous 3 completely lost the ability to charge. The Rose gold fades within days. Ring will randomly disconnect on its own & stop recording data. Metrics are way off. The official launch should have been a beta test - they absolutely weren’t ready. It’s … sort of working now? Except spot checks don’t work and sometimes it decides not to record sleep data. Overall - had hopes for the open design but generally do not recommend.

The ring battery completely dies after 3-6 months of use! Skip this
Don’t buy this ring
I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Evie ring, and I regret ever purchasing it.
I’ve gone through two rings that completely stopped holding a charge within just six months each. For a $300 device marketed as a premium wearable, that kind of failure rate is unacceptable. This isn’t a minor inconvenience — it’s a clear sign of poor product quality.
What made it worse was the customer support. The latest replacement they sent was the wrong size and color — and instead of fixing it, I was told to just throw it away. Seriously. I followed up multiple times, and the VP of Customer Success personally responded — but still offered no meaningful resolution, just a polite version of “we’re done here.”
All of this happened in less than 17 months. Two failed devices, one useless replacement, and a support team that clearly has no interest in making things right.
Don’t be fooled by the marketing — the Evie ring is not worth the price, and the company does not stand behind their product. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone.

Bad product
The Evie ring is trash. I’ve had to exchange mine no less than 5 times and they eventually refunded me the cost. Now it’s not working again and they told me they will not warranty it because they refunded me original purchase!
App lacks features
The app is very basic and lacks helpful features one would expect in a sleep tracker. Considering going back to my Oura ring.
New update crashes app
App update does not work. App continues to crash
Promising but needs work
Updating - really disappointed with this ring and wishing I would’ve kept the Oura instead of returning for this one.
Nothing this app tracks is accurate.
-It frequently says I slept for 1 hour when I got a full nights sleep.
- it tells me I burned the same calories on days I worked out and in days I did not exercise at all.
- the heart rate check doesn’t work half the time
Highly recommend saving your money and going with the Oura ring.
Original review:
I’m really excited about this ring and I expect kinks since it is brand new- here is what I’m hoping will improve over time
- Accuracy - particularly my sleep is usually immaculate. It says I slept from 1-5 this morning but I went to bed at 10:15 and slept until 6:30. It also says I’m rarely in deep or rem sleep which doesn’t seem accurate.
- I wish the app sent me notifications when it noticed changes in heart rate or body temperature (I’ve heard that you can tell if you are about to get sick with the Oura ring- can this ring do that with body temp measurements)
- furthermore on body temperature, I doubt the accuracy of this. I get really warm when I sleep but it usually says I have a lower body temp while I sleep.
- I don’t like that I have to log a work out. Shouldn’t it be able to tell when I’m working out and log it for me? I already log work outs in another app.
- I thought the ring would tell me when I was about to start my period because it can tell by body temp. So why do I need to log it?
I am hoping to do more of a direct comparison to the oura ring once I talk to my friends who have that one. I am happy to not have to pay the monthly fee of Oura, which is why I chose the Evie ring. I hope the above can be improved so I can feel reassured in my purchasing decision.

Disappointed
I bought this to track my sleep patterns and my heart health. While the heart part works decently well, the ring only tracks sleep when it wants. I wear it every night and wake up to sync it only to be surprise with no sleep data for that previous night. Out of 7 days, it tracks 4-5… sometimes less.

Sleep Tracking Needs Work
I used to have the Motiv ring before it became obsolete and it did a much better job of tracking my sleep cycles than the Evie. This ring should be able to recognize I’m sleeping versus me having to tell it when I go to sleep. Please improve!!!
