100x better but still terrible

Somehow this app is 100x better than the old one but still awful. Search doesn’t work at all. Manually scrolling back a few days doesn’t work at all. It’s slow as molasses. That just tells you how bad the old app was. Basically this one looks nicer and doesn’t crash as much but is still virtually useless.

Barely functional?

The new design is an improvement to a point but does not work very well has too many bugs in it?? Using the slider to try and go back and find things is not incremental enough.? I seem to miss a lot of things that are happening because of the way that it plays video playback.
Needs a better system to look back at Video and stop the app from going black and not being able to see the video streams. The last version I didn’t have this problem?

Lost credentials.

Absolutely ridiculous for a company of this size and this age to release an app and cause every single customer to have to re-authenticate and re-enter their username and password. We are a very small company and I know we lost a couple thousand dollars in labor having to deal with this.

Improved but with issues

Although I like the new layout and use of being able to access video playback, but I’ve noticed a few things different from the previous version (before the facelift): 1) it drains the battery much faster, 2) the iPhone gets a lot warmer when watching video and 3) whether in portrait or landscape mode on a single camera, after several minutes (maybe less than 5min) the image stops but the timeline keeps moving. Unless you are constantly watching you are thinking nothing is happening, but unless you noticed that the time stopped you could miss what you are watching for.

I hope that they take this into consideration and fix these issues. All just equally important.

We test exacqVision Mobile on a range of different mobile devices to ensure adequate performance, so I'd like to get some more details here. Can you please send me your Apple device model and iOS version you're currently running? Do you have more streaming issues with higher resolution cameras, or is it across all camera resolutions? In the meantime, last week we released a new update for the app. You might try downloading it and seeing if that improves streaming performance on your device. We're committed to continuously improving the new app, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us get that done!

System is not working. They need to figure out what’s going on!

This app is way better than the old one, great job and progress team. One suggestion that would make this 5 stars is allow PTZ overlay on full screen video. Add the arrows on the edges of the screen and this will be a winner. You’re only able to use PTZ in small mode and the controls take up the whole bottom half of the screen.

Will not connect!😾

I’m literally plugging in the EXACT SAME ip address of the current working server being used in EXACQ MOBILE ver. 24.09.2.0 (this version connects with no issues)
But it refuses to change screens or even give me an error message… just freezes

After entering the ip address and log in info the app says system unavailable.

Are you entering the URL of the exacqVision Server (not web service, like the old app used)? 2. Is your server running at least 24.09? 3. Have you tried having your administrator generate a remote connectivity code and connecting that way? Much improved over the old app. No static ip or opening ports to connect to servers.

Exacq’s best app!

Super easy to use and I connected to my recorder with a six digit code in seconds! I had to generate the code on my recorder’s software.

Absolutely the best remote video app!!!

It’s fast, amazingly simple and responsive.

WAY better than the old app

The quick connect code was almost instantaneous. Searching video is way quicker and if I fat fingered the time, I can use the scrub bar to correct that time. Way better than the old Exacq Mobile 3 app.
