Expedia has removed guests phone number so you’re unable to contact them
This is unsafe for hotel owners not having a phone number to be able to contact their guests. It is also time-consuming frustrating you don’t get this with Booking.com.

Not being able to contact guests is not practical. I like to confirm arrival times when they haven’t put anything and they don’t always look at messages in the app whereas they would see a text message. Therefore not being able to send a text message is very inconvenient, booking.com allow this and us much better

Communication avec les clients impossible
Il est inadmissible que l’on ne puisse pas avoir les coordonnées des clients, au moins un numéro de téléphone mobile pour échanger avec des SMS, wattsapp…je travaille avec d’autres OTA, il n’y a qu’avec le Groupe Expedia que l’on voit cela.

How in the world did they get 4.5 star review average. Bologna. Too many notification errors
I have a thing about red dots on app icons. This app doesn't clear them. I still have notification alerts from guests that stayed months ago. Very sloppy

Keep asking again and again though after logged in

Excellent All in One App
The Expedia Partner Central app is excellent for managing your property on the go. It’s easy to use and provides live access to reservations as soon as guests book. You can also monitor revenue, marketing performance, guest reviews, and respond to reviews—all in one place. A very convenient and well-designed app for property management.

No contact number for guests
As a small hotel we like to text guests on the day or before their arrival to check on arrival times, pass on self check in details and any other helpful recommendations. Without a mobile number this system falls apart as many people do not check email periodically but DO get text alerts.
No customer information
Expedia no longer passes on the customer information to the Hotel/Motels so the company can’t verify arrival times or delays. We get mad customers when the office is closed.
Helpful tool for hotel properties
The app and agents are very helpful. Easy to use and get bookings!
Works great but…
App itself works well but message filters and gatekeeping makes communicating with guests nearly impossible.
Lack of guest info
With booking.com we can communicate with our guests via their message app or text to the guest mobile number which is provided so we can send pre arrival information and enquire about guest arrival time.
