Aside from having to log in every time, it consistently tells me I need to contact administrator for access. Even after using it multiple times that day
Worse app ever - crashes constantly
This is a horrible app. Many times after entering multiple receipts it will crash and tell you an error occurred. When that happens, you have to delete the app, reinstall, and redo the expense all over again. I’m stuck with it because of my employer uses it.
Simply does not work
Too slow and crashes too often to be a usable app. Should be pulled altogether.
Revisiting last millennium
Remember the old days of labor intensive expense reports that make you wonder why am I even in sales? This app is worse.

Expensewire is the worst app, the worst website, and quite frankly, the most pointless and useless company on the planet.

Unexpected Errors
Constant unexpected errors occur which force you to shut the app. I’ve had to restart the app 4 separate instances after my first use of this app and now I can’t submit the report. Pretty annoying. Also, the uploading of the receipt takes an absurd amount of time.
Horribly slow app
Been using this app (company mandate) for two years and it’s very slow and frustrating. Between the spinning loading symbols to constant error messages uploading images of receipts, I would give this app zero stars if I could. First I thought it was my phone so got new iPhone 13 with 512gb. Same issues. Tried on wifi and off. No change. Deleted and reinstalled app and did a hard reset of phone…No difference. I don’t have a choice of apps. Hopefully you will.

Must Log in every time!
With all the advances in apps and security, Expense Wire makes you log in every time you use it. Come on Developers…..when you’re on the road and uploading recipes, I don’t want to have to spend anymore time than necessary to do my expenses. Other apps can pull it off, why can’t you???
Very buggy!
Loses itself often in a variety of reception conditions. Does not upload receipts reliably. Clunky to use and slow.
User pass user pass user pass
Over and over and over. Every time I try to scan a receipt: user password. It’s easier to keep your paper receipts and scan them at home, like 2005. Don’t bother downloading.
Please save the user ID
We have to use this app multiple times daily and each time must type in user ID. Ours are our email and it’s a pain having to retype it over and over especially since the keyboard is not set for emails (no @ or dots).
Also please allow us to use keychain or even better face recognition to sign on.

Won’t launch
Asks to enable cell data or WiFi, both enabled and still won’t launch.
Not useful
The mobile version of the website is more useful than this app (though not by much).
- it doesn’t retain your password, so you have to log in every time you use it
- it is slow and clunky; it crashes often, making it ineffective for on-the-go reporting
- I couldn’t get further to test more of the app because it wouldn’t stay logged in. 🤷♂️👎

Big Improvement
Users of ExpenseWire needed this mobile application, we have been waiting for it’s release. This is well needed addition in this mobile world!

Just use the safari link
It doesn’t retain your password and requests that you enter it often. At least in the safari link you can use keychain to keep it and use faceID to enter it.

Embarrassing
Opened the app and literally said “yikes”. One of the ugliest apps I’ve seen in a while. Clearly not optimized for the 11 pro, there’s a big blank bar at the top and bottom of the screen, I use dark mode all the time and they clearly haven’t thought about that in their design, because in dark mode I can’t even see the time, my battery life, or anything at the top because of that big blank white space. In the white space at the bottom of the main page page you can see a weird blue bar that doesn’t take up the width of the entire screen come and go if you swipe your finger in a scrolling motion. When you tap on the three bars for the menu, the ExpenseWire logo isn’t even the right resolution... you can tell it’s a too-small size photo stretched to be larger and is thus pixelated. You can tell that very little effort and money have been put into the app, which isn’t surprising given the experience I’ve had with ExpenseWire in general. It all feels like an app that would be designed for and released on the original iPod touch. What a skimpy effort.
