New updates are terrible
You guys screwed the UI/UX up in a big way with this new update and you have to know it by now. Please go back to the old version. This one sucks.
WORST MILEAGE TRACKING EVER
I’m hoping the app will stay open long enough for me to finish this review. If you’re trying to track mileage for your expenses, use something else. Literally every time I look at this app it has stopped and asks me if I want to pickup where it left off. (only it doesn’t, he conveniently missed the last 20 miles of your drive and wants to start over now). This is constant. And the only troubleshooting steps or advice is to delete and reinstall the app.

It might be a good app, but I won't know because I can't download it from the iOS App Store.
Problem after problem - AI
Any time that I have to update my billing info, the app will not let you do it. You have to log on a web browser. Once you do that, you get stuck in a loop of magic codes that will not verify your account. I was unable to verify, couldn’t pay my subscription, and lost all of my expense info including receipts. I make a second account, the same thing happens, but this time it charged the old account somehow of $19.89, when I usually paid 5$ and some change each month. I cancelled my subscription a second time and still could not get my billing info changed. The AI assistant is no help. The receipt scanner rarely works.

Overhaul completely destroyed the UI and app
Overhaul completely destroyed the UI and app. Things that were 1 or 2 clicks are now 4-5 and functions are hidden and unclear. Old app was much, much better and more simple. No obvious paths to what you want to go to. Can’t even copy paste the text of report titles anymore.
Borderline unusable. Would not use it but I am forced to for work.

Wants you to update but no new updates available- stop focusing on cute, you nitwits, just keep it functional.
Run from this app
Its very glitchy, errors everywhere, constantly asking for your location, and It’s impossible to speak to a human for support. Just don’t do it and save your business major headaches.

Bug- required update
Yeah, the app keeps asking me to update the app. I’ll update it. Go back to the App Store update it and then it keeps sending me in this crazy loop. It even does this on the web browser as well. They really need to get it together on this part.
Receipts
It would be great if receipts were already generated from the vendor through the app. Then all I would have to do is attach the transaction to the correct projects

Expensify started as an easy way to keep expenses together in one place. It was nice and easy to use, not cumbersome and easily accessible for a small business. I’ve used it and had it on my various devices for almost a decade.
However, they have become more and more like the expense platform I despise-Concur.
Every single update they make makes this product harder and harder to use. They regular change the formats, where to find things, etc. I have to re-learn the app every time I submit an expense report.
You are NOT IMPROVING your service. Leave it alone. Don’t keep changing interfaces. Traveling salespeople (the ones that use this) want easy, quick and seamless. That’s it. Period. Stop reinventing the wheel. You already had an amazing product to

Not every website needs to be encrappified by AI. Can’t opt out of these horrible AI features and app and site are stuck.
Bad to worse
Constantly tells me expenses from years ago need “fixing.”
When I pull up the “expenses” page the cartoon tells me, “oops, something went wrong.”

Ai garbage
I have to use this app for work and since the UI change and the addition of AI "support" it has made it even less user friendly. There is too much going on in the app. I just want to be able to enter my expenses in manually so that I can ensure all the information is correct. The only good thing to come from this update is that you can search for expenses rather than scrolling endlessly, but that doesn't make up for how complicated and annoying the app is to use now.

The old Expensify was better. Less clicking around to get things done.

I have been using expensify for years. It has become glitchy with lots of issues and their IT help has been zero help with no phone numbers to talk to a human. Time to cancel as much as I don’t want to
