Almost Perfect
I love the app. It’s so much different than what I was accustomed to. I would like to see a few things more. I would like access to the folders I’ve already created over the years. I would like a select all and delete all. Overall, it’s a great app that I would highly recommend.

so random found this from a reel that was lowkey promoting this (this is not an ad btw) and knew I needed this cause I get way too many credit karma and amazon emails that just bother me but I know I need them😭 downloaded this app and omg kudos to whoever did the ui on this it’s genuinely goated and the best ui design (and the dev that coded it - smooth app and the design works perfectly) I’ve seen in a while for an app - the functionalities are super simple and so easy to use I love it sm might be my favourite app on my phone

Next generation of Email
completely blown away, the way Extra simplifies and organizes everything is absolutely amazing, i dont go out of my way to write reviews on many things but this app 100% deserves it, the UI is very pleasing to the eye and easy to understand, it does an amazing job managing your emails and getting rid of things that are simply no longer needed. this app has made dealing with my emails an enjoyable experience and i cant wait to see how this app evolves with future updates. revolutionary💯 (would love to see widgets get added in the future)

Still early days but for a new app it’s nailed the basics of sorting and summarising my inboxes

As an Entrepreneur that has to get through emails and also has ADHD, this app makes emails a breeze, something that I actually look forward to opening, and is very underwhelming in a peaceful way versus opening your email and just seeing a massive list of essentially things to do and people to get back to. Whoever developed this, thank you a thousand times!

Should be on TestFlight
This is a great idea and I can see this will be an amazing app I would use everyday, once it’s actually finished being created.
This is not in a release state and should be on TestFlight.
You’re just damaging your reputation by releasing an unfinished app.
People will download, see it’s flawed, delete and likely never return.
Put on an open TestFlight and you don’t get that issue as people download TestFlight apps knowing it’s going to be unfinished and buggy.

Great email concept!
Love the concept and how it visualizes priorities. The only issue I’m facing is that it doesn’t pick up on received Gmail/calendly email times. So I have to go back into Gmail to check the original email for the scheduled time.
Where are they at?
I just downloaded this app literally just now but I’m wondering if I made a mistake. If you have a problem who will answer that? Literally, where are the developers that answer your questions when you have a problem with this app, I cannot find any. Reviews that have someone answering their problems… To me this is very VERY important aspect of an app and there’s not any on here so did I make a mistake or not?? The fact only remains to be seen later, and that’s a shame.

I really wanted to love extra. Interface is nice/great , AI assistant is mid, and its ability to truly extract what’s important fails. I literally signed up for an event and was waiting on an invoice before the event was open to the public. The invoice never popped up and I thought I hadn’t received it. Hours before it went on sale to the public. I was searching through all my emails via the original Gmail app and found it. Extra just didn’t think it was important. This happened on other reservations I had made for a different trip as well. AI is awesome until it’s not. I unfortunately went back to the Gmail app. It’s good enough and is rock solid reliable, which at the end of the day is the most important thing for me.

In the latest update, you can personalize your Today tab and tell Extra what you don’t want to miss and what you want to see more of. We’ve also made big improvements to the assistant. We’d love for you to try the latest version and let us know what you think.
Needs a Little Extra
The app is fantastic, but the lack of adding accounts other than a Gmail account is quite the deal breaker for me. Secondly, coming from a mail app that does this, the ability to group similar mail into clusters so that you can view by sender is amazing, but not found here.

Can’t Login in App
I just discovered this email app today and I absolutely love it, but I keep getting error messages whenever I try to login on iOS and iPadOS. It works perfectly fine in Safari but not the mobile apps for some reason. Please fix this soon as I’m probably not the only one experiencing this issue.
Definitely an upgrade over regular email
Works very well. Ai is good at summarizing and answering questions as well as crafting replies. Does randomly freeze up in both website and the app. Need to refresh when that happens. Also the AI is pretty slow in answering questions so you need to just give it time.
Inbox is actually helpful
Extra is a game changer - my inbox is no longer a black hole where things disappear and action item are missed. Extra works for you and is like having a personal assistant.
