Does not allow autofill

I cannot raise payments in the app as it will not allow me to autofill information from saved credit cards. The feature was there before but now is gone

Uploads won’t load

My sons nursery upload videos and pictures of their Day and none of the videos seem to be loading after freshing the app and deleting re installing it too. Tried this on my partners phone and still the same problem

Basically useless

The updates (observations) are far from real time and follow days or weeks after the nursery adds them. They’ve told us that the app queues them up and posting them to us is delayed.

Annoying notifications

When I get a new communication from the nursery the red badge just stays there long after I read the message, making you wonder if there’s a new message or just the one you already read

You can find way better app out there!

Not user friendly at all. This is by far one of the worst app stored in my phone (I have no choice, it’s the one imposed by the nursery). It’s like it was designed 20years ago!

Constant error messages

Unable to use at all. I receive notifications to my device but when I click on the app to look at them I receive constant error messages either saying I have no internet connection (which I do) or just a message saying an error occurred. Our nursery has recently transferred to this app and I can’t use it at all

App doesn’t work

I’m running on IOS 18.6.2, app was working fine but now it doesn’t work at all, tried deleting and redownloading but it still doesn’t work

Failed

Tried to open the APP for 1000 times but it keeps showing no connection to internet! There has no problem with my internet at all! Tried to restart and remove and install again nothing works!

Very limited functionality

There is no search function or area in the app for the nursery to store policies or processes. So if you need to know these things this app is useless. The app should be good at providing a timeline of photos and updates throughout the day but it’s often very delayed. Up to 24h behind sometimes! Oh and the notifications are useless, they are duplicates of each other and never actually tell you what they are - meaning you end up with a sea of notifications that all say “a new post has been published “ and nothing else.

If you’re a nursery considering this app - honestly don’t. You’d have more functionality and usability setting up a WhatsApp group!

I don’t recommend it

An app in 2025 that doesn’t allow to zoom in on pictures..how is that even possible?
An app that sends you delayed emails from the past week.
The only reason why we use it it’s because that’s the only way to get updates from the nursery.

Does not work

App does not load, doesn’t let me in to see anything. Messages don’t work properly. I can see im getting notifications but no good if i cant access the app. Don’t fox something thats not broken.

Is this their first app?

Why our nursery chose this I’ve no idea. Messaging doesn’t work, I can’t read most of the messages except for the first few words, I can’t see my partners messages, I can’t provide information about my children eg dietary. So called new features haven’t actually been implemented.
At least it’s free I guess

Unusable

Since the update I can’t get into this app because the ‘what’s new in version 5.0.3’ window blocks the front page. I’m unable to scroll down to read the entire message and I’m unable to close it.
I’d be amused by the irony if I didn’t need to get in to check on my child.

Also there is no option to personalise notifications, meaning an alert telling you your child has successfully eaten a breadstick is treated with the same gravitas as a message letting you know the nursery will be closed.

No longer able to zoom into photos

No longer able to zoom into photos

Please fix uploading media

Adding observations doesn’t allow for multi-select and a bug means a Discard notification pops up as you’re selecting images

Not convinced

The app seems to be improved, but legacy messages have disappeared entirely and attachments in new messages (e.g. pdfs) have to be saved and downloaded elsewhere in order to be viewed. Clearly basic usability was overlooked in the update. There is also no draggable scroll bar to browse the timeline. :(

No idea what they are doing

Since last update I can only see the ‘latest observation’ - this is not an improvement

Spammy

The new update has brought an endless stream of notifications; I don’t need to be updated for every nappy change and snack my child eats. I definitely don’t need notifications that a new version has been released. I’m ambivalent about the new UI, it’s still really slow, but I guess heading in the right direction

Please make it less annoying

The new update has definitely improved the UI, but it’s crucial to get the basics right, especially since the notification system seems to have gone overboard. I now receive a notification after every single meal and message, and there’s no option to clear these notifications en masse. Currently, I have to tap each one individually, which can exceed 60-70 per week. This is quite impractical and rather frustrating.

It’s essential to add a way to clear and customize notifications. Right now, it’s all or nothing: notifications are either fully on for everything or completely off. I would like to receive notifications for important events like check-ins/check-outs and nursery messages, but not for every meal. The ability to control this in the settings should be a basic feature. Without it, the app becomes either a constant annoyance or simply not fit for purpose.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback—we really appreciate it! We understand that receiving too many notifications can be frustrating, and we’re actively working on enhancing notification controls to allow better customisation. Our goal is to give you the flexibility to choose which updates you want to receive, such as check-ins, check-outs, and nursery messages, while avoiding less critical alerts like meal updates. In the meantime, we’ve turned off notifications for daily diary updates to reduce unnecessary alerts. We’re also exploring ways to improve notification management, including a "clear all" option, so you won’t have to dismiss them one by one. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us refine the experience. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to share—we’d love to hear them!

Clunky to navigate

The UI is generally slow and unresponsive and whilst improved over the previous version the app still suffers from performance issues. The notification and messages page point to each other and seem redundant, there’s also no configurability for what you want to be notified about. For example, I get a notification that I’ve received a message which points me at the adjacent section on messages.
I miss the single feed of observations - we have two kids at nursery and I have to endlessly select which one to get to their things, make this easier and provide a consolidated view of their days for both.
And for messages and notifications - it needs a “mark all as read” or swipe actions rather than having to click into each one.
For photos, they’re no longer pinch zoomable - this was useful as it can be difficult to see what’s actually happening in the observation.
Functionality to change your child’s profile picture also seems to have been removed? They grow quickly so photos get outdated - please add this back.
