EZ-Link App is not for visitors to Singapore.
Available in foreign (USA) country app stores for everyone to install but is unusable as it expects a +65 country code mobile phone.
I was preparing for my visit to Singapore, with this app and simply cannot use it without a +65 mobile phone. I am sure this is a 5 star app but why allow visitors to install the app and it’s hard coded to Singaporeans. It doesn’t even allow neighbouring Malaysians either.

No overseas cards allowed for top up
You have a wonderful transport system in Singapore that tourists admire very much . It is a shame that we cannot top up our ez link card using our own debit or credit card issued in our country. We do not have a locally issued payment card when we are tourists. I visit Singapore 4 times each year. It is inconvenient to find a top up station near me. Thank you

Too many spam related offers for products
I have zero interest in all of the products, points, etc. I just want to manage the balances of my EZ link card.
Only accepts sg mobile phones.
Requires a mobile number starting with 8 or 9. So no international visitors can use it. Dumb.

No keyboard for adding PIN 🫣
A ridiculous app logon - when you log on it sends a One Time Pin but blocks any form of keyboard. So impossible to use!
Useless for non-locals
Heads up if you don’t live in SG: You need a VPN set to Singapore and a Singaporean phone number to use this app. It should not be advertised on all the tourist websites as a way to check your ex link card balance :(

Shocking app, it kicked me out of the app and now I am completely unable to access any of my details. All my information and bank cards are stored in the app but I am not able to use it myself? Wow. Sort it out before launching! Wouldn’t give any stars if it let me.

I’ve reinstalled the app, changed my password, and tried multiple cards, but payment always fails.
In addition to the time wasted inputting countless OTPs, I sure I’m not alone in getting annoyed at passing my credit card details to a company that clearly isn’t trying to complete a transaction. Is this a scam?

cannot even register as theres a mobile number requirement that does not let me enter my full number.
Seems it’s completely broken.
Guess there’s no chance of me taking advantage of this, since it will not even allow me to register an account.
Bonus points for poor UI.
Would not recommend.
On that note, I can’t really give any recommendations on what else to use, since this is technically supposed to be the legitimate native app for interfacing with EZ-Link cards.

My kid just missed his bus because his top up, which was successful, took time to go through. 3 mins wasn’t enough. And the reason we needed to top up was because when I opened the app I saw that a previous top up had been refunded to me. So I thought my kid had money - he didn’t. And that’s the second time a refund has left us caught short. Generally I like this app, but things like this make it really annoying and necessitate alternative methods.
