Terrible app
This has got to be the most convoluted messed up app I have ever seen. I’m not sure who coded this thing, but they make it impossible to do anything with the app. It’s seemingly just a website in the background which also doesn’t work well.
App version 7.5.1 doesn’t work
If there was a half star I would have given it. The mobile app that was refreshed 2 weeks ago doesn’t work. Please fix it. Customer service has no idea why it doesn’t work.

Started off working, but is a horrible app to begin with. Especially when compared to other companies I have used in the past. I can’t even log in using the app! The app is usually the easiest way to submit documentation…but not with this app. The website is horrible too. Take some money and invest it into your app and website so they actually work

Denials
The app is easy to use , but the backend logic to review claims is faulty. Claims are denied with a reason of “missing information” but the information is clearly on the receipt. Resubmitting the same receipt sometimes solves the problem. Sometimes I end up not getting reimbursed.
App sucks bug after bug!
This app is completely unreliable and 90% of the time it won’t open you have to delete reinstall delete reinstall I’m three weeks and and have not been able to log into this app to view any of my transactions and or submit reimbursement. I’ve had to go to the online website. I have reported the issue to them, and there is still been no resolved and or feedback.

Keeps asking for a passkey
Very frustrated and confused as to which HealthEquity site should be used for DCFSA and FSA. The site and app keeps asking for a passkey and never asks for just a plain old password like I set up. Fix it!
Like the app but need a new feature
I like the app. It saves me a lot of time. One new feature I would like to see is, on the Claims and Activities page, add a button to allow me to remove an old claim request that was sent long time ago. It was an invalid claim so I replaced it with a new claim but it’s annoying that I can’t remove it and I keep getting reminders that I need to submit new receipt for it, even after so many years. Thanks!

Ridiculous
Constantly messing up, and any claims are almost always denied, if I go to the dentist I’m obviously having dental work done. Never thought it would be so hard to spend my own money, but I guess that benefits them since it’s use it or lose it. I never had this many problems with the HealthEquity HSA app

App stopped working
Seemed fine until phone updated. Can no longer log on with the app. Keeps saying experiencing technical difficulties.
Password required but not accepted
App shows entry for userid only. When userid is provided and continue button pressed; message indicates both userid and password is required

Poor App functionality
The app doesn’t function properly, and the overall user experience is very frustrating. Hopefully future updates will improve the experience.

phone upgrade app no longer works
upgraded my iphone from 13
to 17 recently and upon transfer of information by carrier this app stopped working. after many calls to customer service to fix I was told to use the website as their solution.

Does not recognize me
I’ve attempted to sign in multiple times and the app tells me account is not recognized. I sign in with passkeys, so the password seems obsolete. I even changed my password to see if that would work, but no, Very disappointed.
Too many Password changes
It requires password change all the time, it is ridiculous. I’ve never seen any other app require this many password changes. And all those apps are way more secure and critical than this one!
App is trash
I upload my receipts it excepts whatever it wants. If here is always an update and the issues aren’t fixed.
Bad
Login page glitches if you try to use your phone's fill password feature. It's annoying.
