Lies about pricing
I’ve been checking my activity for about a week now and all my trips have been $1.50. I’ve been getting charged 1.50 ONCE everytime i used the tolls. Now i pay it and all my “hidden” tolls are up to see. Three or four tolls paid for everyday instead of one. Why not show me this information when i was low on funds playing my trips.

HCTRA toll transactions typically post within a few business days. Toll transactions from other agencies may take up to 60 days to post to your EZ TAG account. Unbelievably unnecessary security
I was simply trying to make a payment through this app and instead of just sending a code or something simple it tries to make me select pictures of traffic lights out of a bunch of squares and some of the squares have a tiny part of the traffic light in it so you don’t know whether to choose only the squares with the whole traffic light or every one that has any part of a traffic light in it. Anyway, it didn’t work and it was so frustrating. I had to go online to pay. Won’t be using this app again.

Never working
Any time I ever need to use this app is always say it’s services are offline. Or takes 3 decades to open in the first place. This should not be the case.

On iOS 26, the app crashes immediately when attempting to edit information
Inconsistent maps
I don’t understand why some activities can have a mapped location and others don’t. It should be all, you must have the locations of the tag detectors somewhere.
Why so difficult
Not at all user friendly. Need to make it simpler especially for senior citizens.
Terrible
This app is so jank it seems like a scam… 0 effort at behaving like a modern iOS app; it’s barely functional as a website replacement.
Works great for me.

Great transition from EZ Tag
I just completed moving my EZ Tag account to HCTRA on their website. It was a little time consuming setting up a new account, but the instructions were clear and I got it accomplished. All my activity, credit card info, and three vehicles transferred correctly. I then installed this app and logged in. All information is there! So far, so good. 👍
