Love

Awesome opportunity to try new restaurants. Would love to see more options and more than twice a week.

60% Failure Rate / Cheating Restaurants

It's always a hit and miss with this service. You can make the effort and plan your meals a week in advance and they arbitrarily decide whether or not you get your order. They pocket the money in the hopes that you won't complain.

Simultaneously, restaurants push cheaper versions of their normal meals; gravy gets watered down, broth gets added to weigh plates down, sandwiches gets prepared the night before, you ask for meat balls, they send you minced Sysco chicken. Açai bowls get 1/3 less serving and MORE banana than retail.

Overall, stealing money from companies and recipients. How else would anyone make money in 2026, right? I don't want to participate in helping foreigners get rich off our backs.

Take what you can but DON'T RELY on this service to come through even 40% of the time.

Excellent service

the new branding and icon are awful.

Thanks for making this app a total eyesore on my Home Screen, and giving it the most soulless new name one could imagine 🙄

needs pictures

the app does its job and it’s easy to use. Not having pictures of menu items directly on the app is such an inconvenience for a food app though. It would help a lot with people complaining about portion sizes. As a food app this is unacceptable.

Wide variety

Relish provides wide variety of choices and as per my exp they take the reviews seriously. Thanks

Works well until you need customer support

Placing order, tracking and alerts work as expected. But there is a big problem with getting support. I have had two instances where the food I received had missing ingredients or completely incorrect. I don’t find a report problem anywhere. There is a follow up review collected after each meal, but that’s about it.

Every day is a lovely surprise

I thought I’d be annoyed that there is only a limited number of places to order from each day, but the food has been amazing, delivery is on time, and I’ve learned of new places to eat in neighboring areas.

App is generally great, crashes a lot

Overall functionality is great. I wish they had healthier options more frequently - bowls/salads are hard to come by. The app crashes frequently/can’t seem to handle heavy load. I get the ‘Something went wrong’ screen nearly every day when trying to see if my lunch is here/check the app.

Hit or miss

Tried the service a few times now with coworkers and you may get your food or you may not, just have a backup plan for lunch, chances are you may need it.

app is unavailable at lunchtime every day

The two main things I use this app for are ordering lunch and knowing when and where my lunch is. The app is unavailable every day at lunchtime, so it only works for one of those cases. Not good!

Great

I can’t believe how much I use Relish. It’s great.

Food options

I don’t understand how you do the line up for food venders. You will have ethnic foods for all three options on one day and regular or American food all on one day. I like simple food so why not have options that will fit different people on everyday. So if you ask why I don’t order on certain days its because there is no option for me.

Poor accuracy on ordering..!!!!

So far…. I have ordered twice. first breakfast my fruit parfait was missed. It was confirmed on my order. 2nd day for breakfast the order was doubled. 2nd day lunch I requested certain items be removed from my dish. They were not.! So far Your score is a 1…! very poor accuracy on ordering..!!!

Lunch has become much worse with Relish

Update: the customer team replied and blamed our plan administrator. Of course they are right in a sense, but the plan administrator says that Relish’s sales reps recommended the levels of subsidy that were set so ultimately Relish’s recommendation is what led to the poor decision. 1 star

I work at a company that used to bring in large amounts of catering platters once a week until a Relish Vendor reached out. They sold our company on the idea of Relish and also made the recommendation to cap Lunch at $17 per person. In the city like San Francisco this means almost everything on most menus is no longer provided free lunch has now become subsidized lunch. The company save some money,Relish earned a bunch, and we just have worse lunches. Big thanks to the relish rep who made this possible.🙄

Response from developer

Hi Tony, Thank you for taking time to share feedback with us about your experience while using our Relish program within ezCater. I want to make sure that your concern is addressed properly. Employers determine their own subsidies if they decide to provide them when using the Relish program and you should contact the Relish administrator at your company to express any concerns that you have about making changes to what is in place. ~Voice of the Customer Team

Curious who rated?

My company pays $8 per Relish order as cafeteria is under construction. I mostly pay $6 to $10 to cover the remaining. The main complaint I have is the same order I make through Relish is with much smaller portion and lower quality compared to the same order at the same restaurant. Some of orders look like made in the previous day. Relish does not look like they even care about the reviews. When I ordered from one of the listed restaurants , the portion was 1/3 of the same food as I get from exactly the same restaurant. Refund requests takes days or ignored.
