Facebook Dating is Worth it!!!
I almost didn't give Facebook dating a chance.
As a Christian who has chosen to be abstinent, I was intentional about what I was looking for. My profile reflected who I am, showing me coming from Bible study to a picture with me and my kitten taking a selfie. I made it clear that I put God first in my life and I wasn't looking for casual dating. I was praying for a future husband.
At first I was skeptical, but I actually like that Facebook dating was built into Facebook instead of being on a completely separate app, it felt more natural and after trying other dating apps that weren't just for me, this one felt different. I met some genuinely kind people and then I met the man who is soon to be my husband.
Looking back I'm so grateful I didn't give up.
If you're feeling discouraged keep your standards high, set your boundaries and be intentional on who you give your time to. Pray be patient and don't settle. The right person will come when you least expect it. And God will give you what you need at the right time.
For me Facebook dating worked, and I'm glad I gave it a chance♥️

Bombarded with ads
Facebook is a great way to stay connected with family and friends however, it has become a platform of abuse. Videos going viral of people getting killed, seriously hurt, violent brawls, animals being abused, porn, racism. One gets inundated with advertisements and constantly harassed by scammers. Plenty on line bullying of kids and adults. People should have a valid ID in order to open a FB account. Too many pedophiles and other sick and disturbed people scoping for their next victim. I fail to understand how anyone can open a FB with zero proof of age or if you are who you say you are. There is no control on FB and it’s very evident that it is being abused by criminals and bullies and online scammers. Way too many advertisements and being scammed when ordering. People pretending to be someone else and stealing profiles. No proper way to speak to anyone. Accounts getting shut down for no reason. Reporting is a joke as fake profiles don’t get taken down. Has to be a better way to deal with bullies, the swearing, the violence.
