DISGRACEFUL SERVICE
We’ve been customers for around 20 years and we’re always happy with the service. That was until today. Have no idea what has happened with the company. In our case it’s not about the drivers which have always been very polite, but the employees answering the phone to take the bookings. On two past occasions, I decided to take a deep breath and forget about it but our experience today has prompted me to write this review. I won’t waste my time describing the extremely uncomfortable moment that I’ve gone through, it was simply appalling. Have never come across that level of disdain, lack of education and disregard for the customer. Needless to say that Fairway & Kenwood number has been deleted from my contacts as we won’t be using them ever again.

Used to be a good firm
Have used Fairway&Kenwood cab firm for the past 15 years. Last few times have been a nightmare. Late drivers who don’t know where they’re going/drop off at the wrong location. Will be using other options from now on. Shame.
DO NOT USE
Cancelled my pre ordered cab one hour before supposed to pick us up. That meant we missed our theatre outing. No apology or compensation . Appalling company .
I’d have given zero if that was an option
Useless, cancelled 3 times on the same trip. I thought it was a technical glitch so kept trying. Waste of time. Just take it off the App Store if it doesn’t work!!!
Consistently good
Have tried a variety of airport taxi companies in London over the years and these guys (though not perfect) are consistently the best, by far.
With other companies I have often had problems on early morning pick ups (“oh they got stuck in traffic”...at 5am on a Sunday?!?! - yes, you dreadful BA Transfers) but touch wood I have never had a problem with Fairway.
Only slight consistent problem is being met at Heathrow but eventually you manage to track each other down.

Rip off service
Rip off taxi drivers. Trying to charge you extra on the road for using certain roads, even though not a toll road. Unheard off behaviour for taxis in all my years in England. Taxi company entirely unresponsive when complained later. Will never use again. Uber much better alternative to these rip off taxi companies.

Excellent Easy App
Great App use it regularly to book journeys to Heathrow got 10% off to super!!
Could be better
App would be better if it provided an estimated time of arrival once you book a taxi. This is the reason that I more use Uber despite the prices being almost the same.
Dissapointed
App gave me a price multiple times and cancelled it after ordering. Once I called up I was told my quotes were invalid... Therefore useless app! Do NOT purchase!
Worst Cab firm in london
I used to use them before the app because they were cheap that was about the only benefit. Cabs are often late, have no idea where they are going, one drove me the wrong way up park lane!
After downloading the app I was relieved to be able to register my card and not have to have cash on me. I usually book with green tomato but thought I'd try them. The cab stopped at the wrong end of the road and asked me to walk 5 minutes to him. When I got there asked for my card and ID, I didn't have it so I had to call the controller and argue with that moron that without ID they couldn't take me, at 2am they wouldn't compromise that I could get it from my flat when I got there. Disgusting behaviour and I won't ever be using them again.

Rip-off company
Big disappointment! They give you a rate on the application once you book but afterwards when they drop you off they ask you for additional charges which end up being 10 pounds more than what is stated..Such a rip-off, dishonest company

Wast of time booked and car never show up. Scams bustard.
Fairway app
I'm already a frequent user of Fairway and I've always been happy with the service. Good to know there's an app for the service too
Crap
I use the fairway mostly so I was very happy to see the leaflet on my doorstep this morning. I tried using the booking app and it's not working. So disappointed.
App works very well & good service
Used this today to order a car. App is very good and it's easy to make a booking and then track the car on it's way to you. Also easy to cancel bookings within the app. Recommended.
Doesn't work
The app doesn't work!!! Connection keeps timing out! Crap!!!
Excellent Service
Being a frequent user of taxis, i know what to expect, late car, scrufy driver and smelly car. However was pleasantly surprised when i recently tried Fairway & Kenwood Cars. The driver was on time, very smartly dressed and drove an immaculate E- Class mercedes. if only everyone was like that. I shall definetly be using them when i go out to Heathrow later next week......
