Second contact

So far I’ve not been able to add a second person

Doesn’t work

Eats up power, won’t run in the background and doesn’t work? Heck no deleting

FallSafety is great

The first day after I installed the app I tossed my pants on the bed with my iPhone attached to the belt at 3:00 AM. It called my wife, daughter, and son automatically. It was a comic scene as everyone tried to figure out how to respond. If it was really a fall It would have gotten me help quickly.

Waste of money

This app is a useless waste of money… it constantly goes off for no reason, but when I just had a hard fall onto my face the alarm didn’t even go off. Bad product!

Was working and not

I can’t get it to work. I gave my info and phone number and it keeps saying it will send me a code. Nothing. There is no customer service to call. What is wrong?

Was able to add one contact and purchased additional membership for five more and unable to enter names of other five contacts

I fell. No alarm.

I fell skinned my knee and both hands and banged my head. Lay there for a bit. NO ALARM. nothing. Deleted the app.

It really works- and fast

I just fell outside my home carrying something in my arms. Immediately my Apple Watch started ringing and vibrating with a notification “looks like you’ve had a hard fall. Did you fall (yes or no “); do you need help? (Yes or no, I’m all right) I have had this app for over a year and never needed it. I was not hurt and had my son with me. Yes, I recommend this app.

I fell in my home and the alert didn’t sound. Fortunately my husband heard me hit the floor and came to my assistance.

Thank you for your review. We are glad your fall was detected and that you are alright after the fall. The messages you saw on your Apple Watch may have been from the Apple built-in fall detection instead of FallSafety Home. Either way, we are glad that you were and are protected. If you have any questions, please contact support@fallsafetyapp.com. Thank you.

Didn’t detect my fall.

I just had a hard fall when I tripped over a root. It DID NOT DETECT IT. Don’t waste your time. I’m deleting it from my phone. DON’T rely on this app.

Good concept, poor execution

So far, not pleased that I can’t close the app. That it must be running in the background 24/7. It’s been harsh on my battery. I’ll give it a little more time to see how long the drain takes. If a day or two goes by with it draining my battery life too quickly I’ll keep it. Otherwise, I’m cancelling.

Doesn’t work

I have epilepsy and we wanted something that could alert my wife at work so we installed FallSafety and yesterday I had another seizure and got pretty cut up on broken glass, and was a few hours before she got home and found me, all the app did was close itself. Wouldn’t trust my life with it that’s for sure.. so disappointed

Invaluable App

I have used twice- Worth the money.

Life Saving!

I downloaded this app. 3 days prior to sustaining a major slip and fall. Thankfully I was wearing my I watch when I fell. The siren on the app. Awakened me from an unconscious state. My daughter was alerted via email and text that I had fallen. We went to the ER where I was diagnosed with a concussion as well as bruises and minor contusions. I am so grateful that this fall app works exactly the way it should.

Customer service not helpful

Treated me as if I were a fool. Didn’t pay attention to my description of the issue. Typical American business attitude toward its customers.

Does not work as expected

After the initial test, the app would not recognize any falls or shocks to the phone. Is this a sick joke to get people to drop their phones from successively higher heights, to test the app, until they break their phones?

One too many false alarms.

I like the app but it needs some work. Every time I lie down on my bed, or get up,it fires an alert.

I have been living with that annoyance, but it went too far. I thought that the warning that it had lost the WiFi signal meant that it would not work while it was in my car. I was driving down the freeway when I heard a police siren. I looked all around, but I didn’t see any flashing lights.

When I got to my destination, everybody was upset because my emergency contact had gotten a fall alert, and had initiated a police response. I have deleted the app because,I don’t know how to prevent this from happening again.

doesent work

installed app filled out everything and i tried to see if it worked by doing a test droping myself on the floor many times and nothing then when i was watching tv all the sudden it went off uninstalled and kept disconnecting

Disappointed!

I was in need of a “Fall Detection & Alert”. It was suggested to me to get an Apple Watch. I purchased one & added this app.
I had this app on for about two months. Every time I would toss my phone on my bed, the counter, etc. it would contact my daughter. It got quite annoying!
Last week, I got on a 5’ ladder to hang something on my wall.
I FELL FROM THE TOP RUNG. I ended up with a crushed heel, a sprain on my wrist & a lot of bruises. I was home alone with my mom who has Alzheimer’s Dementia.
THE FALL DETECTION NEVER, NEVER WENT OFF!!!
I had to crawl to another room to get my phone to call for help. I am not happy about this.

How do I turn it off?

I took a minor fall that sprained my left wrist. I was fairly shook up already when the siren went off to alert my Emergency Contact Person. I disabled the app by tapping on ‘silence’ & I’m OK. I talked to my Emergancy Contact on the phone, as the system had called her. This was Great! However, 10 minutes later, the alarm went off again! I ‘silenced’ it again & tapped on the ‘I’m Ok’, and the system called my Emergancy Contact again! This happened a total of 4 times that ended up leaving me quite rattled trying to manage with one hand! I finally deleted the app off my iPhone to stop it! I wrote to the Support option for help. They suggested I delete the app & re-install it, which I had already done, but did not re-install until the next day because I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’m very happy with the initial response from this app, but there needs to be an easier way to disable it. Thanks!
Could be because I injured my left wrist, the first thing I did was take my Apple Watch off & put it on the charger. I’m guessing that because of this, the system thought I wasn’t moving! AI needs more fine tuning! Still, I remain grateful!💜

Hi Gayle, Just checking in to see that you were able to switch from FallSafety Pro to FallSafety Home. I believe the issue you were having was due to the Worker Down feature being turned on. I hope FallSafety Home has been working well for you this past month.

Does it work without WiFi

Twice when away from my house a notice came in I did not have internet. I do because I have Verizon wireless and can get the internet anywhere I go

Response from developer

Hello. When you're away from home this is most likely due to being in an area with low or no cellular coverage. FallSafety Home will alert you of this situation so that you can move to an area of greater cellular coverage, if you wish to do so.
