Don’t expect any support from customer service.
I had purchased movie tickets and expected to be able to watch the film. I used the fandango app to get these tickets and haven’t had any issues before. This is experience was hands down the worse I’ve had in any movie theater. Now, as someone who used fandango exclusively for tickets, I felt some comfort that knowing this company, customer service would do SOMETHING to aide in this disappointing experience. Not only did the do nothing, they just wasted time to the point where it was past the deadlines of requesting a refund. I submitted my customer service ticket 30
minutes after leaving the theater, they didn’t get back to me for 4 days. When they did get back to me, they apologized for the inconvenience and they asked for the receipt information which gave me solace in the hopes I’d be refunded. 5 days later, they emailed me back saying I have to review the theaters return policy and see if I can get refunded. So they basically took two weeks to respond back saying “hey, you’re out of luck.” I will not be using their services again and I don’t think anyone reading this should either. They will not help you.

I don’t know what’s wrong with the app but when I go to purchase a movie it doesn’t work even after I put my promo code in. I’ve had the membership for a month and already want a full refund on it I didn’t even get to use its benefits but it took $10 from me for it.

Issues booking Cinemark theaters
I cannot book anything for Cinemark movie theaters, when I try to look up show times, it gives me an error. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but that didn’t fix it
DO NOT BUY THROUGH FANDANGO
I purchased movie tickets through fandango and on the way to my movie, I was in a car accident that totaled my car. Obviously I was in the midst of dealing with that so when I called fandango, the movie had already been 20 minutes in and they said “sorry, strict policy, no refund” now I’m down a car and $50
I talked to the theater about it and they told me to only purchase tickets through them because they will refund your money even after it has started because life happens.
Crazy thing is. I’ve been getting my tickets through fandango since I graduated high school and I’m 31 now. FOREVER DELETING THE APP. Lost a loyal customer for life. Thanks for nothing fandango

They allow sketchy third apps that make it seem like they are part of fandango. And they ask you to reedem money. You have on the tickets and they charge for something else. Shady will never use again
