Paying extra for delays and stolen packages

I have never heard of fetch before my new apartment and I wish I never have. I've only been here five days and it seems impossible to get my packages in a timely manner. I had two nights tables take two days to process and now it's been delayed at the fetch warehouse after previously stating it would be out for delivery and I'm assuming stolen by there personnel. It so ridiculous that we would have to pay an extra fee to deal with packages have at minimum a one day delay and then potentially being stolen by personnel on top of that you cannot speak to a live agent about anything.

Their customer support is useless

I had an issue with my package, and I submitted the form. All I could get was a same response of ‘we are working on it’. They are super slow, I don’t have a trust about this service anymore.

Nice concept, poor follow through

I love the concept and the app design- however, it’s not possible to use if you’re a working person. They only offer package drop off during a 3-hour evening window once a day (6-9pm). They come by at two time points, each 10 minutes apart. If you miss them, you have to reschedule for the next evening. This is very difficult if you have a job or obligations during this time frame. They do not give you a heads up as to when the courier will be at your door. There is no option for the courier to leave the package at your door. If you work until 6 the courier may come at 6:10 and 6:20. They will say they missed you and you have to wait until the next evening to schedule a delivery again during the same time period. You cannot communicate with the courier and say- hey I’ll be home at 7 if you can come by then! Or select a time preference within the 3 hour window. They say that you actually get your packages faster when you use Fetch, but this is not true. Also, some companies (Target) do not allow shipping to a Fetch address so can’t use it as default for all places.

Horrible AI chatbots

They have removed human support and now all you have to solve problems is hallucinating AI Chatbot that don't understand what you were asking. It's dystopian and nightmarish

A scam

Apartment back end fee for no reason. Just a way to charge residents.

Captive Audience Customer and Less than Satisfied

Not many words are needed. An unnecessary and somewhat unreliable service so far in my experience using it where I live.

What a joke!!

We’ve had nothing but issues with this service. Amazon delivers (when this service doesn’t decline delivery), and then we hear nothing from this service. Their customer service just copies and paste the same response each time and gives us the run around. If they actually do deliver then their people literally pick up your box from their cart and throw it at your door. I’m so frustrated with their service that our apartment charges us monthly for!!!

The most unnecessary service on earth!

Would you like to pay 15 dollars monthly to receive your packages up to 48 hours late while simultaneously having zero recourse for lost or stolen packages? No?
Well too bad, because your apartment complex signed an exclusive deal with Fetch! Yes, your building had perfectly good, secure package mailboxes, but they’ve ripped those out and replaced them with a much more expensive, much less efficient, and much less secure last-leg delivery concierge service to roam the halls and literally DROP packages at your door, no matter how fragile! It’s the service that you LITERALLY can’t say “no” to!

Should be called Fetch Resident: Packages on OUR time

The perfect system to have your packages consistently delayed.

Trust your instincts

Feel like your package will get lost after adding a questionably documented 2nd middleman to your already issue-ridden delivery process? That’s because it will. Like, on the second delivery for me.

I do not want this service

My apartment forces me to pay for this service, which is 25 dollars a month just so I can get my packages slightly later than I would if I didn’t have to pay for this useless service.

Why would I ship a package to a 3rd party

If they lose your package they will not compensate. Currently I can’t schedule my delivery on the app. The stupidest survive I’ve ever heard of and used….

Satisfied

Though they don’t ask me for review but it’s totally complementary. It feels awkward as they don’t have their phone numbers in their service but I don’t hesitate to reach out to them through email. And I got responses from them. Really appreciate their professionalism and I’m satisfied with their deliveries as well. It’s been a year with them.

Company exists to lose packages

Lose about a quarter of the stuff that is sent. Staff has no idea what’s going on when you try to contact them.

Really dislike Fetch

Wont live an apartment that uses fetch again. Want all your packages to arrive much later and now with the possibility of fetch losing the or delivering them to the wrong door? Then go with fetch

Outside delivery window

My apartment complex requires all residents to use this app and it’s a nightmare. It takes so much longer to get your package than it should due to the fact that delivery drivers can just miss or cancel your delivery with no warning. I don’t know why, but every single time I’ve tried to have my items delivered in the 12-2 (earliest) time slot, something happens and my delivery is missed. Customers service also requires you to fill out so much information in order to track down what happened just for them to do nothing about it. It’s like talking into a void.

Amazing service

I hated trying to find my packages in the mailroom. Sometimes they’d be delivered abs I’d never get them. I also had a huge issue with items being delivered to other apartments never to be seen again. Fetch solved all of those issues. You just choose a delivery window and that’s it. I have never had an issue and I love that.

I will not rent from a place that leverages this service in the future

Terrible first experience using Fetch. One package is lost forever in the ethos. Two were lost, but were found after a week or so of responding to Fetch’s constant automated emails filled with questions. You are granted no privacy with the use of this service, either. They want to know what is in the box, what you purchased, who from.

The use of automation and AI for providing support causes never-ending feedback loops, to which reflects poorly on you during a lost package if you don’t respond. It is almost like a loophole for them to not actually solve finding how they lost your package. I, to date, have no escalation point.

I have already added to my criterion that any apartment I am interested in for future rentals will not be considered should they too leverage Fetch.

Missing packages

Worst service ever, missing packages and they take so long to deliver something that normally arrives faster and they don’t even have a good contact support service is just email and with office hours

Worthless service

Forced to use this service by my apartment complex, it’s great for getting your packages a day later than they would normally arrive, or not at all. The entire business model is eliminated by package lockers, which any apartment worth living at will have. If I could give negative stars or spit in the face of the founder of Fetch I would

Update: still forced to use this godawful service, they are closed all weekend so my Amazon packages that were delivered to their warehouse on Friday won’t be available to me until MONDAY NIGHT. Who in their right mind thinks this is acceptable?

TO APARTMENT ADMINS: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR YOUR COMPLEX!
