The OYG fitness platform I’ve used for years has sadly closed. So I’ve signed up to FIIT and so far done some yoga, low impact cardio and strength workouts. Took me a little while to find my way round this app, and figure out what ‘metcon’ and ‘endure’ type workouts mean, but so far the actual workouts are excellent. There is loads of choice and different ways to use the app, e.g by studio, rebalance etc or equipment, level etc. trainers so far have been excellent, focussing on correct form and giving adaptations where needed.

Glitchy
When the app works the classes are good, but too often I am trying to start classes and all I get is that spinning wheel of death! All updates are done on phones/TV etc and still classes won’t load or cut off mid class. Spend more time trying to find a class that will play/load than doing any exercise. Very very frustrating!

Broken Apple Watch connectivity
The connection with Apple Watch has been buggy for over 3 weeks now and my daily workouts have not been tracked in the Vitality app since then. Tried deleting/reinstalling the apps on both iPhone and Watch, restarting devices, updating, disconnecting Bluetooth, pausing/restarting workouts, etc. A bit of a motivation killer when I want to do my exercise but end up having to fight with technical issues before I even get started! Good workouts otherwise.

Watch integration recently broken
When I first started using this a while ago it was brilliant. On the whole the workouts and trainers are really great, but I’ve given it 3* because it’s essentially stopped working with my watch.
Someone either in Apple or FIIT software development have broken the Bluetooth integration. Workouts start well, watch (Apple Ultra 3 - not exactly a cheap bit of kit) is connected and tracking heart rate. Within a few minutes it switches to “waiting for workout” (or some similar message) and won’t reconnect. Oddly heart rate tracking seems to continue working as it shows it on the phone, but essentially the watch is now independent of the phone.
I finish the workout, submit workout feedback on the phone and the watch doesn’t know anything about it, I have to stop it on my watch manually.
I’ve reinstalled the app, wiped and reset the watch, nothing works.
On the other hand tracking a run works fine on Apple health. Even playing Pickleball where I’m 10 meters from my phone still tracks everything correctly.
I get this free via Vitality, so I continue, but if I had to pay for it I would have cancelled and switched by now.

New buggy update?
As a regular user, I notice Fiit has been very buggy as of late. I’m not sure if there’s been a new update recently.
A couple of examples of the bugs: Fiit failing to connect to Apple Watch and workout session suddenly stopped working.
The biggest pain point has been the inability to jump to the workout block where you were disconnected from.
Everytime I can’t connect, the session repeats itself from the beginning and I have to wait for the session to get to the block I’m catching up to. A couple of times, I had to finish the session myself using the breakdown list, but this resulted in the workout not being recorded.
I have a screen recording of an instance where a session when reloaded, the audio overlaps on previous sessions (I had to reload the session three times to no success).
As I have Fiit linked to my Vitality accounts, I have lost out on points because of the inability to fully complete the exercise sessions.

Apple Health link broken again
After last week’s little hiccup, it seemed to be working again.
However today the workouts are not writing to Apple Health.
The watch seems to be recording, and all the metrics are being recorded and saved in the FiiT app, it’s just not saving to Apple fitness/health, so no vitality points ☹️

Watch disconnecting
Apple Watch is disconnecting after last update, and pause the application on phone
Apple Health Syncing Broken
Been on to support who say it’s fixed. Had a couple of updates since. It’s not fixed. Workouts don’t track in the fitness app and as such you can’t earn Vitality points. No point renewing.
Apple Health sync broken and frustrating
The Apple Health integration is completely broken. Despite having an active subscription and all permissions enabled, my workouts refuse to sync. It’s incredibly frustrating to finish a tough session and have it completely miss my Activity rings. For a premium fitness app, seamless tracking should be a given. Please fix this bug.

would be good if you could use any video controls during a workout
cant go back 5 seconds cant save where you were in a workout cant figure out why the video just sometimes will not load, really want to like this app but needs major qol changes
More yoga plans
Love the app and the variety of exercises. However, it would be great to have more 25-30 min vinyasa yoga flows or even a vinyasa yoga plan.
Keeps me on the treadmill
I’m trying to keep a NY resolution and become quicker over 5km. Over the winter it’s hard to get on the road so a treadmill is my preferred way to train. Normally, I find treadmill running boring and easy to stop but the tread running has me motivated and easily (well mentally, physically burning) doing a 38min session. The specialised stretch classes that it shows me post a tread run are also brilliant. FIIT is worth every penny. I’d appreciate if they could make it easier to filter on running only (vs plus weights) and have more 30min classes vs 26-27min just to hit my 30min Apple Watch/ Vitality cardio goal but am sure that will come.

App not working
App won’t let me even get on to it tried deleting and reinstalling but still doesn’t work can’t even get passed the start bit
Would not recommend
I suggest you look at more recent reviews. I can’t for a second believe this app is rated No 1.
EXCELLENT
I absolutely love the quality of instruction, all the classes including strength, cardio, and specialty Hyrox classes that they offer. I highly recommend anybody and everybody to try the workouts. I’m hooked! Also, the customer service and response time is top notch. Wish I could give 10 stars!
No Airplay and freezing issues
The content of the app is absolutely brilliant but what’s the point when it can’t be played on a big screen especially doing yoga with complex postures. Supports screen mirroring but it’s glitchy.
Good workouts, constant tech issues
Every time I use it I seem to spend more time getting the tech to work (connect to watch, to TV etc) than actually working out
Won’t connect to Apple Watch
I have an Apple Watch Series 9 (GPS), which since the latest FIIT app update yesterday will no longer connect to FIIT when trying to exercise. Is this a recognised and known bug? I rely on this to gain activity points with Vitality.
Before this, the app has always been seamless, without any issues.

Buggy app and non-inclusive workouts. Have changed to WithU
Looks like the company’s going under. Seem to stopped developing.
Great when it works
I’ve had a few instances when it just doesn’t connect using my tv app to connect via my iPhone . It just hangs and doesn’t start the app on my TV which puts me off using it.
