No Race Options Except for Run
Runners do other disciplines, too, for example triathlon. Under activity type, can race options be added for cycling, swimming, and triathlon? Right now the only race option is for running, at least in the basic athlete version.

Love this app, connects the coaches with the runners, and allows seamless planning and integration, especially with Garmin. I’ve had no problems with this app at all. The devs are awesome too, very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend this, especially if you are a coach!
Beware if you use it with iOS
I’ve had nothing but trouble with this app. I use it with iPhone and Apple Watch. Tech support has basically blamed all of my issues on Apple, conveniently. Maybe this app works better with android. But if you use Apple products I DO NOT recommend using this app. I can’t turn off the voice prompt, which is incredibly annoying. Additionally my iPhone was clocking my pace at 8:58 in the fitness app while Final Surge was clocking it at 13:08. I shared time stamped screen shots to illustrate this. But “it’s Apple” that’s the issue. This app is a total joke. And tech support is lazy and disinterested in getting to the real root of these issues. Do not recommend.

Не знаю, у кого там какие проблемы. Приложение работают как часы. Тренер рисует план - план синхронизируется с часами (Garmin) на раз два. Тренировка должна быть сделана через workout builder. В этом случае и автоматически и вручную можно синхронизировать с connect. Само приложение имеет приличный набор для анализа тренировок уже в бесплатной версии. Расхождения по среднему ЧСС иногда присутствует (рисует в меньшую сторону на 1 удар) но в целом скорее уровень погрешности. В основном отличное приложение!

issues with freezing
I love the app when it works, but the majority of the times I open it, it freezes or crashes. I have to uninstall and download it again to get it to work. I've tried updating my OS. This is the only app that behaves this way on my phone.
Decent when not crashing
The UI is pretty serviceable when the app is functioning well, easy to use for daily logging. However, it crashes a few times per month and often freezes when entering workout details. It really should be updated and debugger at least a few times per month, considering that when it’s buggy, it’s almost useless.

Program Sync
Program I brought and applied to start using, not all the workouts load
Forever loading
Almost every single time I go to a new week (or open the app to see the current week) there is a loading spinner that either takes 30 seconds to load everything or just forever spins and doesn’t load anything. It basically never loads in a timely manner the first time.

Estupenda aplicación
Very useful for reviewing the results of training. I'm looking forward to them adding the possibility of designing structured workouts designed in the app (just like it can already be done on the web)

Merging
I have noticed that you are able to pick and choose which activity you want to merge with the assigned activity from coaches. I can’t help but want a feature where you can merge the activities that you actually do. So, if I were to run 5 miles, but it’s in 5 different activities, I would like a feature where we can move all 5 of those activities into 1 activity with 5 miles and all of the data averaged out. PLEASE MAKE THIS!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Widgets don’t work iOS 18
The widgets no longer work when selecting the “Tint” option to customise the Home Screen in iOS 18. The widget just appears all white. Please update to fix :)

Stacked with features and easy on the retinas. I’ve been using Final Surge for a few weeks, and I’m impressed. It mixes features from other training apps, but allows you to create, edit, move and add comments to as many training day plans as desired or necessary. After training, you can add comments and complete a brief scale summarising the session. Beyond other apps I’ve seen, you can quickly add injuries, soreness and cramps to your completed session. And it is easy since the app depicts a body, and you just click where and when the pain occurred. This level of detail and ease is amazing. Plus, Garmin workouts can be synced to the app. If this app ever stops, I will be sad.

Great improvements keep happening
Every time I think this app is probably the best coaching app on the market they release something else and make it better. Never satisfied they keep giving us more easy to use tools. As a high school track and cross country coach this is my must use app.
Phenomenal App
The iOS app along with the web app (beta mode) are phenomenal and truly insightful as an athlete. There were reviews that the UI is terrible but the developer has improved and it looks amazing. Would recommend

Great but minor bugs
Love (LOVE) the Apple Watch workout integration, but currently there is a bug where if you do a Final Surge workout that is synced the the Apple Watch (as opposed to just an Outdoor Run or something on the watch) then the Final Surge app will not sync it up and will think you did not run.
Example: I did a Final Surge synced run on Sunday so that it would notify me when out of pace. The app did not pick up that I did the work out. This morning I did just and Outdoor Run open goal work out on my Apple Watch and the Final Surge app synced it immediately.
