Disappointed by Overdraft Fee Handling
I am extremely disappointed with this bank’s service.
My account was automatically charged nearly $500 in PAID OVERDRAFT FEES without any prior notice or email notification. The bank kept deducting money repeatedly while providing no warning or assistance to prevent this from happening.
When I went to the branch in person to resolve the issue, instead of receiving help or a refund, I was simply told that it was my fault, not the bank’s responsibility. This response was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of accountability and customer care.
I am a new customer and this is my first time living in the United States. The bank failed to clearly explain overdraft fees, account policies, or provide proper guidance, which is especially important for new customers. The overall support was extremely poor.
