What's New in Fitlock

1.9.0

October 30, 2026

What's new in 1.9.0: • Meet Insights: see how moving more shrinks your screen time, by day, week or month. Every Monday, get a story of your week to look back on and share. • Streaks for every schedule: each day a schedule runs adds to its streak, with milestones to celebrate as it grows. If Fitlock Pro lapses, your streak pauses instead of breaking. • Take a holiday: give a schedule a day off without breaking its streak. Set how many you get in the schedule's settings. • Step goals now count your iPhone's latest steps straight away, without waiting for Apple Health to catch up. • Push-ups and squats are now counted wherever you put your phone. • If Screen Time counts use from your other devices, Fitlock now lets you know and shows you how to fix it. • Polish and fixes: your schedule's padlock springs open when you've earned your time, distances always show in your chosen units, and widgets, the location picker and the camera are more reliable.

Subscription Based Robbery

All worthwhile features that used to be free are now behind a paywall. A pro version should offer NEW, ADDITIONAL features. It shouldn’t be charging you for things that were previously free.

Review

Anyone who is looking for a break from the screen, this is the best app to do it. It’s free and it gives you many variable options. Great app.

Good but

Definitely worth but pls add it so I can connect my peloton to it that would be so cool

Was good until they changed it

I got this app a long time ago and have seen it get better and better getting rid of bugs. I was using the workout to unlock features. With a recent update tho it made it so that was a pro feature, and that was the only reason I used the app. So I will be uninstalling and looking for others unless they change it back.

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for sticking with Fitlock for so long and watching it improve. It means a lot, and I’m really sorry this change hit the feature you used most. You’re right that workout unlocking is now part of Pro. At the same time, I’ve added more to the free plan, including camera push-up detection, so you can still earn screen time by moving without paying anything. I’m always trying to find the right balance between a generous free plan and keeping Fitlock sustainable, so I can keep building it into the best move-to-earn screen time app out there. Every Pro subscription goes straight back into new features and improvements. I’d love for you to give push-ups a go before you uninstall. If there’s something that would make the free plan work better for you, please let me know. Feedback like yours really does shape what I build next. 💪

So hard to use

I did 40 pushups to earn an hour and it won’t let me use my hours so stupid

Response from developer

Hi there, thanks for trying Fitlock, and for putting in those 40 push-ups! 💪 We’re really sorry the screen time you earned didn’t unlock. That’s frustrating after a workout. When we first added push-ups as a way to earn screen time, there were a few issues with it, and some users had earned time that didn’t apply properly. We’ve since fixed these, so your push-ups should now count and the time you earn should unlock as expected. We’d love for you to give Fitlock another go. If it works well for you this time, we’d really appreciate it if you’d think about updating your review. And if you still run into problems, please get in touch with us and we’ll sort it out quickly. Thanks again, and keep up the reps!
