Me encanta!!! Es fácil, practica y entendible 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽💥

Great Addition!

Great app for Alena’s classes! It’s easy to use, convenient, and makes it simple to stay on track with my workouts. I especially like having everything organized in one place. Definitely a helpful tool for staying active and consistent. Way to go!!

Where’s my history data?

1. Where’s my history data? App says it will be available soon but it’s been a month or more!

2. The last revision reduced the font size to being nearly unreadable. There is a lot of dead space on your screens, use some of it with a readable font size.

Apple Watch connectivity issues, constant restarts

I’ve been using this app for years, well over 500 workouts logged. The last 6 or so months, when connected to my Apple Watch, the workout will randomly end and restart. This is frustrating when I want the heart rate data for the entire workout. Once it restarts, it will not restart the heart rate monitoring, only the total time. I have another app connected that tracks workouts based on 30 and 45 consecutive minutes of a certain Hearst percentage. This often completely waives the eligibility for that workout.

Overall ok but features don’t work well to are missing.

The app is ok overall, however the sleep system is absolute garbage. If you put down you fell asleep at 12:35am and woke up at 9am that morning. It puts down you slept for 18hrs25min. What?! No that’s 8hrs25min. If you put down 11:20pm and then the next day 7:20am it somehow has 20hrs down.

Additionally the meal/recipe system doesn’t sync the number of servings. You make a recipe, add the number of servings and it breaks it down. Great. Then you add said recipe and it adds ALL the servings every time. Not just the one you’re having.

Very limited support for Android watches as well.

Video mismatch

Usually the exercise video and the exercise description contradict each other - palms up or down, toes pointed up or down - I just go with the video since I assume AI writes the descriptions

Just start!

What a great difference just a month has made!! I’m stronger than ever and seeing new definition all the time. Thank you Trainerize!!

OK but glitchy

Videos are glitchy and often do not play at all. History often does not load for exercises making it difficult to recall previous weight/reps. Many duplicate exercises in the library.

Apple Watch tracking shuts off mid workout

Biggest annoyance I have with this app is the Apple Watch connectivity. It randomly stops the workout on my watch mid-workout so my workout isn’t recorded properly. The issue has been occurring for years !

Worth every penny!

I bought the transform package with video submissions. This is the best app I’ve ever purchased! Kayla is amazing! I’m learning so much and building a lifetime foundation for my body and mind.

Perfect

Such an asset to keeping me on track to my goals in record time. So thankful for this app

Glitchy

I hate this app. Sometimes it works out. But other times It’s super glitchy, freezes up, and won’t load workouts or your workout history. Not showing history for an exercise is annoying, but I can usually remember approximately what weight I used last time. But not pulling up the workout when I want to work out is unacceptable. It’s happened twice on the last two weeks.

Stats are back! Yay!

Love the app and so happy the older stats are back. Thank you!

Asks me sign in?

How can I sign in when I wasn’t given the option to even create an account first? It makes no sense?

Loving it

I’m able to manage my app with no complications. I enjoy and understand how to put in my readings. It was very easy to sync up my fitness pal to include my meals.

Search history feature request

Reaching out with a bit of unsolicited product feedback from a very active Trainerize user. :)

My background is in product and design leadership. I have a hard time not noticing these things in products I use all the time, especially ones I’m genuinely invested in.

Trainerize is incredibly useful to me in real time. When I’m at the gym with my coach, I can move through the programmed workout, see what I did previously, log my weights and reps, and keep moving. It does that job really well.

Where I keep hitting a wall is the moment I want to understand anything about my training outside of that immediate workout context.

Tonight I had an incredibly simple question: What weight have I been using for seated dumbbell overhead press?

I assumed I’d just search the exercise and see my history. Instead, I couldn’t find a global search, couldn’t find an intuitive path into my past workouts, and ultimately couldn’t answer the question despite knowing that Trainerize has all of that data.

That struck me as an interesting product gap: Trainerize is very good at helping me execute a workout, but surprisingly difficult to use as my own training record.

As a client, I’d love to be able to search any movement and immediately see: when I’ve done it, weight/reps, progression over time, recent performance and PRs. The data is already being generated every time I train, but I don’t really have a way to interrogate it.

With so much opportunity emerging around AI and longitudinal fitness data, that feels particularly valuable. Even before adding intelligence, simply making my own history accessible would unlock a lot.

Anyway, sharing because I use the product constantly and care about it enough to notice. I know unsolicited product feedback can be a mixed blessing :) but figured this observation might be useful to you and the team.

Phenomenal app!

This app helped me hold myself accountable along with others. It’s fun to use and navigate through the app! All around, it’s a wonderful app! Great job!!

Shortened Look-Back

I generally love this app but for the past two almost three months, I can’t see any of my workout data that is older than 90 days. I get new training blocks every six weeks so to no longer have this feature has become quite inconvenient and is honestly very frustrating. How many more months will this be the case while developers continue to stabilize the app?

Latest update added a bug

The last update now keeps adding the same workout multiple times. 14 at last count.

App updates

App tells you you have to update then takes you to App Store where it’s already updated then has you open another app that isn’t the trainer side you’re trying to have access to. Constant updates for bug fixes that add more issues.
