App works, company is a scam
Company automatically charges you $145 as an annual subscription when you buy the device without your authorization they don’t apologize. They just say that we’re charged you you can cancel the subscription but it takes you through 15 different pages of saying no thank you definitely a fraudulent company. I would avoid them like the plague.

Very impressive
Fantastic diagnosis. 2014 Corvette. I had a blinking check engine light with very low power. Plugged in the white FIXD and 20 seconds later it gave me the cylinder. I replaced spark plug and she runs great.

cool device, but just another “to good to be true” product, they will try to hit your account for for a service you may have never signed up for. buyer hope you have a good financial institution.

Ease of use
What I like most is it grades the issues like what’s critical and what’s not. Also explains the code not just gives it and then you have to look it up elsewhere.

These people are thieves. I woke up yesterday morning to a large charge to my PayPal account from this company for a premium subscription I never signed up for. And this was done two weeks after I purchased the scanner device, trying to go unnoticed. These people are thieves. Fortunately, PayPal stepped in and I got a full refund. I’m also returning the scanner, unused and unopened for a refund and I will be taking this app off my phone.

I gave FIXD a 4 star review only because I wish the App would let you know EXACTLY what the diagnostic code not only means but tells you exactly what is wrong and needs to be repaired and not give you only what possibly could be wrong . Other than that, the app is absolutely what it says and does I’ve used it many times.

Since some Macanics see a woman coming they try taking advantage which I’m from city so I’m pretty hip to things going on in cars at times but this device has saved me in over priced or they want to charge more for their diagnosis which is same I’ve compared a few times I thank you for this wonderful blessing and for us low income elders also is a big blessing.💕💕💕

All these guys want to do is pull more money from your pocket. They issue a product, then lace it with hidden fees so you have to pay for the info you bought the product for in the first place. Just get a normal OBD2 scan tool and skip the headaches this company brings

Good for buying used
This tool was invaluable when I was looking to buy a used car. It showed me history of check engine lights, and identified bad codes. I’m a little skeptical using it. To diagnose issues with my own car. However, I haven’t ruled out that the problem is the car itself.
2020 Escape
Had a code on the headlight switch module. Luckily it came up 3 days before my extended warranty went out. Thanks to fixed scanners , I got it fixed.

Been meaning to order this for years now and finally got the sensor and installed the app. Sure enough, the check engine light came on and I was able to find out, it was just an EVAP warning and nothing serious. Great price for peace of mind.

I got charged $100 after ordering the tool for cheap, then didn’t even get all the things the order was supposed to come with, and when I downloaded the app, the interface is good for the scanning part but managing ANYTHING having to do with your account is near impossible to do. I had to flag the charge and now I have to order a new card because I can’t use mine anymore… very very shady way of the company handling account user interface.
