What's New in Flex

1.6.18

September 29, 2026

Share to Strava, track your lift progression, rearrange your Home screen, and a fix for the freeze. STRAVA • Connect Strava under Settings > Integrations and your workouts post automatically when you finish • Lifts appear as Weight Training; runs and rides carry their distance • Anything imported from Apple Health or your watch is never re-posted, so nothing shows up twice • Turn automatic sharing off any time and keep the connection • Fixed: a workout shared to Strava could come back through Apple Health as a second, duplicate session • Fixed: deleting an imported workout now sticks — it no longer reappears next time you open the app TRACK YOUR LIFTS • Every lift now shows your best set, the session before it, and the difference • See it while you train too, under the target, so you know the number to beat • Progression charts now lead with weights you actually lifted, not a projected one-rep max • Tap any point on a chart to see the exact set you lifted that day • Time ranges built for a lift: three months, a year, all time, or any two dates you pick • Open Exercise Trends from Progress, or jump straight there from any exercise • Search for a lift instead of scrolling a long strip to find it • Stretches and warm-ups no longer show up as strength trends PERSONAL RECORDS • Fixed: only one exercise per workout was saving a record • Fixed: an easy session could overwrite an old personal best • Records are now read from your full workout history, so they're right going back to your first session • Every lift shows what you're hitting now next to your best ever, with the date • Records you set before Flex can still be added by hand and are kept separate • Stretches and warm-up sets no longer count as lifts BUILD MY PLAN • Your goal, schedule and equipment on one screen, with a Generate button • Changing gyms or dropping to three days a week now takes seconds • Find it from My Plans — your existing routines are kept, not overwritten MAKE IT YOURS • Rearrange your Home screen: drag sections into the order you want, hide the ones you don't use • Nutrition Score and Goal on the Progress tab can finally be reordered or hidden like every other card • Both layouts follow you to a new device MISSED A WORKOUT • Flex now offers to move it to today, or skip it • Skipping is a real choice, not a failure — it won't come back asking • Old missed workouts stop asking after a week instead of lingering FIXES • Fixed the freeze. Tapping Add Workout, or closing certain screens, could leave the app unresponsive until you force quit it • Fixed every food showing 0 calories and no macros when logging • Fixed the nutrition screen freezing after adding a food • Flex Coach now sees your workout plan and remembers your chat history • Fixed Autopilot prescribing weights well above what you last lifted • The rest-day reminder no longer fires on a day you already trained • The Add PR screen opens and closes instantly instead of taking a few seconds • Fixed the Add button on Personal Records being invisible ALSO NEW • Apple Watch and COROS connections under Integrations • Body-fat estimate from your measurements • Log a second entry on any metric the same day, and edit past entries instead of only deleting them • Progress photos load reliably and pinch to zoom • Far fewer notifications for new accounts — everything else is one toggle away in Settings • Fixed the navigation bar being too bright in dark mode • Fixed content sitting too close to the header across Settings

Very Easy to Use/Follow

The app is visually appealing and makes everything extremely easy and concise to follow. As a Division One Athlete, having this right at the tip of my fingertips and can constantly track my own gains and progression by myself, it adds a whole new level of accountability and sense of accomplishment. I also really like the AI Coach feature. Something new and clearly using AI to benefit me is a win.
