Lost item
I once forgot my headphones on my seat during a flight from PE to JHB. I immediately reported the lost item to FlySafair, but unfortunately I was unable to recover it and did not receive any feedback.

Bag opened, items broken / stolen
I flew Safair on the 13/4 FA115 and had my checked bags broken into and items rummaged through and items either broken or stolen.
I did not have a good experience. I am hoping my next few flights are a better experience. I won’t be booking Safair in the future and def won’t recommend.

I would like to sincerely express my appreciation for the two incredible flight attendants on Flight FA101 from Johannesburg to Cape Town on Saturday, 21 February (08:40–11:00).
Itara Taygon and Rorisang were absolutely amazing with my autistic son on his very first flight. They were patient, gentle, and incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make him feel safe and comfortable, which meant more to me than I can express.
As a parent, flying can be stressful, especially when your child has special needs. But because of these two wonderful ladies, our experience was calm, positive, and truly memorable. Their compassion and professionalism made all the difference.
Thank you for turning what could have been a stressful experience into a beautiful first-flight memory for my son. FlySafair is very lucky to have such caring staff members.

Cannot book with this app
This app is shocking . Tried repeatedly but the id scan won’t take photo of ID and cannot complete transaction because of this. Used to work not sure what went wrong. Oh well time to fly someone else then

Forced Updates Painful
This buggy app has got less buggy over time but the forced updates are frustrating. By definition the most common times to use the app would be at the airport / away from home, where you need to find a WiFi connection to make the uodate work/ or burn data for a neglible improvement, If that.
You would think with all the updates that if you move a flight you wouldn't have to pay separate payments for booked seats and the difference in flight cost... But no. So nice idea, sadly after a long period of time the execution is still lacking

The app could be a bit faster. It does however make the check in process easy and saves time.

Really appreciate the fact that whenever I fly which is a few times a year- flights leave on time and arrive ahead of schedule. Your respect for time is valued and appreciated.

This was much easier then the internet even the price although I kept paying or adding but this app very easy to understand
Flight info issue
The app is very slick and responsive. However I’ve run into a bug with the travel details for a flight. I booked 2 flights, to Cape Town and back. On day the of my return flight, tapping on the travel details for the flight brought up THE FIRST FLIGHT’S info. I had to rely on the emailed boarding pass for accurate times because of this. I couldn’t find a feedback option on the app so I’m just writing a review to hopefully let the developers know

This app works very smoothly and is very easy to navigate. Easy to book, pay and also change flights through the app. I wish more airline apps worked this well!

Allow for Multiple Extras One payment at checkout
I love the app and use it often. The only frustration is that each add on has to be paid for separately. For example, if you select seating, I have to pay for this then go and select priority boarding and another payment. This don’t make sense, allow customers to opt for all add on’s and make one payment.
