Cannot add bumped ticket

I was bumped to a much later flight due to overbooking - which seems to be a regular thing with SAA. I cannot load my new e-ticket onto the app - the number is 1 character longer than the space allowed for it. Also the app doesn't automatically update with my new flight. So no way of knowing if they're moving departure gates - also a regular thing - except by watching the wallboards.

Just fly Flysafair

Literally can't even register because according to this very poorly coded tender job that was probably awarded to a sly comrade, my "ID and birth date don't match". Don't bother downloading.

The app needs some serious rework. I can check in on it even if there is a “manage booking” function - which is mainly to sell more add-ons than actual customer service. The flight tracking doesn’t work, whether searching by city or flight number. Very disappointing!!
