Stops me wasting my life
I love this app. I put it on at night so that I can’t scroll in bed, and don’t start my day with social media.
Haven’t used the timer settings as I prefer a strict on/off.
I keep the unlock QR in my car to add just enough friction that I won’t unlock it till lunch :)
Interface is great, allow list is extensive enough to be useful. Messaging is motivating without patronising. Life-changing app.

never left a review before but this app truly deserves one! genuinely changing my life and my habits. i kept getting stuck on socials while i was procrastinating tasks at work and having this app, which i can schedule in the block for working hours, honestly has improved my productivity by so much!! also being able to get back into my hobbies because of this app is bringing me so much joy. truly an amazing invention that gives people their life back!

HUGE
Seriously, don’t spend any more money or time researching paid app blocker products and just download Foqos! It’s free, open-source, and here to stay to give us more power over our phones. It really is a brick wall and I felt a huge change in my productivity within the first hour of use. I’ve been waiting for an app like for a long time…
The only downside is that requires the Settings and Shortcuts app to blocked in order to be loophole/bypass-free. This is not a dealbreaker for me but could totally be for many. This is limitation set by Apple, not the Foqos devs.

A wonderful app
It feels like this app has given me back my life in some ways. I haven’t been on Instagram for nearly a week whereas before I’d spend hours every day on it. I’m reading, writing, getting on with my crafts, and I can’t thank the developer enough for this. I think it’s wonderful the app is free, especially that it’s not subscription based, and I’d be happy to pay a decent one off cost to facilitate the cost of it. Thank you for this!

Problem
Get up but recently whenever I go to lock my apps my messages, notes, and camera app go blank and I can no longer open them from my Home Screen. I have tried to report the issue however it won’t let me as the “page is not found”. The apps aren’t selected to be locked or anything and it isn’t limited to one Foqos it’s all of them. If you see this can you please fix it? As I have the newest software update on both my phone and the app

It’s something I can’t fix. It’s an issue on Apple’s end and they should have it fixed in iOS 27. Don’t appreciate the 3 stars, if I could fix it i would!
Great app - minor glitch
This app has been amazing & completely gotten rid of my morning doom scroll. Highly highly recommend! Only issue I’ve had is when I block facebook it automatically blocks messenger

Oh yeah the reason is because both apps share a deep link and for whatever reason Apple is blocking both apps because of it. Wish I could fix it, but it’s out my control 🥲
Great app and free in 2026?!
Honestly if you’re looking for your own solution to managing screen time this is it. I use the app with a couple hundred nct tags I bought for $6 on amazon and now I have unplugged zones all around the house with just the tap of a tag.

Has changed my life
I am a tech writer so need the internet a lot. But when I don’t, this app gives me my brain back.
A few bugs on a phenomenal app
I am seeing a couple bugs where some apps will still work when turned off and my maps shortcut on my home page breaks every time. It also seems like the app has to be open to use nfc tags regardless of profile settings

Camera doesn’t work?
I was enjoying the apo but then suddenly my camera would be completely black only in the app and I could no longer scan my QR code

I don’t know what to say other than this is the best free app I’ve ever used. My phone time has significantly been decreased, I’m not on my phone late last night as I used to be. Cannot recommend this app enough.
Bug with timed blockouts
If the length for blockouts extends to the next day, the blockout will end by itself after midnight before the time is up, or the blockout will continue, but the app doesn’t indicate a blockout is still ongoing.
