This App is a joke

We just landed, so I download this app to order a taxi. I punch in my phone number because they’re supposed to send me a code. They tell me to hang tight for up to two minutes to get it. I wait. And wait. And ask to resend the code. Half an hour later, I’m still waiting for this mythical code. Meanwhile, I’ve ordered an Uber, gone to dinner, come back to the hotel—yep, with Uber again—unpacked my bags, and that code is still lost in the ether. What a fantastic app!

Phone number won’t work

After a lovely taxi driver from the airport we downloaded the app. However the phone number even with uk code and multiple combinations won’t work for the validation section. Shame so have gone back to bolt.

Does not Send SMS Code to Authenticate

Tried several times to see this up and I never get the SMS message to authenticate. If I can’t set it up, I can’t use it.

Can’t even get the confirmation text to arrive so the app is unusable

F1 ruined

We booked a taxi to go to the hungaroring 3 days in advance. We wait over 30 minutes to get a taxi only for the app to cancel the ride. We spent so much money on these tickets and whose going to refund us for that? Single handed lay ruined our visit. What a joke

Outstanding taxi App for Budapest

Tge App works great and the taxis throughout our trip were excellent. You can choose a larger taxi for the family. Taxis arrived within minutes.

Unable to set up the app

Using the app requires a 4-digit code sent to your mobile phone. The code does not arrive. Tried several mobile phones, including Hungarian and USA. No luck. Unfortunately we are forced to take our business elsewhere.

Refuses to send a set up code to a UK mobile despite having UK in the list so cannot even register.

Don’t be discouraged by bad reviews

As an American on vacation in Budapest this app worked perfectly for me. I was worried because of the other bad reviews, but I had zero issues.

You may have to look up attractions in Google maps and copy the address into this app. But I always got a fast taxi that took me exactly where I was going, and the price estimates are really accurate.

No SMS received to verify my number

I’m sure the app is great… but I can’t use it because the first step is to verify your mobile number using a code sent by SMS. Unfortunately, the code never arrives :(

Budapest AirPort in Englishgirlinlondon or in Hungarian is not recognized

Budapest Airport in English or in Hungarian is not a recognized destination in the app. I tried every possible name for the airport in both languages, including the airport’s official and unofficial names. Other airports thousands of miles away show up, just not BUD.

Solid zero stars!

Also, if you are not a business registered in Hungary with a Hungarian tax number, the drivers are unable to give you a receipt even though it’s the law. Their app is coded such that it doesn’t let them give a receipt without a tax number. Incredibly bad coding all around.
