Cannot cancel subscription
Instructions to cancel subscription do not work. Beware of ongoing billing even after subscription has allegedly been cancelled.
I think you’re scamming your customers
There is no payment information in the Fottur.io app and there is no payment information on the website for this company. This app is in the Apple App Store, which I have downloaded for free, but not used yet. After it went past the free week I was charged $15 for that month of November then in December it charged me almost $38.95 USD directly to my bank.
I went to cancel my subscription or change my payment source but I have no idea where to do that. I have also looked under my subscriptions on Apple and it is not listed there. Yet it is directly charging my bank $38.95 per month for this app which is way higher than what I originally remember agreeing to. That is over $400 a year for a basic hiking app!!!! Thus this company is a scam and is based in a British Indian Ocean territory, wherever that is.
I want my money back!

Renews without notification and will not refund even if it’s the same day you are notified that they renewed themselves.
Where is my subscription info?
I have enjoyed the app for finding trails as we have recently moved and I am unfamiliar with the area. HOWEVER, I have been unable to find my subscription information. There is no payment info in the app nor can I find any detailed account information on the website. In the event I need to cancel or change my payment source, I have no idea where to do that. I also have looked under my subscriptions on my iPhone and Fottur doesn’t even appear there. The amount recently charged to my credit card is not one of the amounts listed in this app description.

Please ask for payment before asking a bunch of questions
Really tired of apps asking a bunch of detailed questions, and then saying “please pay” . And you should really let people try your app before paying. I have no idea if I want to pay $15, because the only thing I know about your app is that it can ask a bunch of questions.

All directions on how to cancel don’t actually work. Seems like fraud.
Nice app!
Great app for a bigger hiker! I could take my 2 year old to a city hike as well as explore some harder trails! Looove the filters that helped me find the perfect trail for our adventures! The app is easy to navigate and use! Will work for more advanced hiker too! 5/5!

Won’t cancel subscription
I have asked them to cancel my subscription but they keep charging me and I cannot find a way to contact them. They say my email cannot be found
Tried to cancel after free trial, charged anyway!
Buyer beware! This app is a scam!!!! I sent an email two days into the Free trial requesting to cancel my free trial. They have billed me twice, even though I have requested to cancel the membership. I can't get anyone from customer service to reply. The next step is going to my bank to stop payment.

Not real useful
I signed up a few days ago. Haven’t found this app to be helpful. Impulse buy, saw on Facebook and thought it might be motivating to get me out more. Regret that I signed up for a month.
My Apple health app that comes on iPhones does a lot more in terms of measure distance etc.
The trail suggestions are not good. Some are a 20 minute drive away for a half mile trail!!
I hike a lot and there are many trails much nicer than these. Plus I selected the not well traveled trails and this app chose mostly chronically very traveled trails.
There was a long questionnaire but the app didn’t match me with my answers.
I have already unsubscribed and won’t be using this app at all.

Great app for planning hikes and exploring new trails! Love the detailed maps and easy navigation. Perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers. Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts!

Promised a tailored plan. I answered all the questions, but no plan appeared. Many of the walks are along city streets, not trails.

I thought I was getting just a one month trial. My card has now been charged for more charges! But-I can't log on with my phone to an account-says I don't have an account. Calling my bank and stopping your access to my money!!!!

Literally no way to cancel in the app. I’ve emailed with no response. This payment is direct through them, not through Apple, and it’s ridiculous that there’s no communication from the developer, with no way to close an account in the app.
Deceptive!
I signed up for this app through FB. Was surprised when my 3 month subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of the 3 months. I read the introductory email that says “ To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least a day before each billing date. You may cancel your subscription in the profile settings on the website. To do this, please go to fottur.io > tap 'Login' to access your account > click your profile picture > choose 'Account settings' and click 'Subscription'.” There is no option for doing this in the app. Deceptive, convoluted and scammy. Makes me not trust this app👎

Emails come back undeliverable. After you buy they have basic feature that cost more. Want my money back!
No preview
I installed the app and during setup it suggested 2 hiking areas at the other side of the country (Canada). Won’t pay unless I know there are closer trails. I don’t need to fly across the country to gind a hike in the woods. Free preview of nearby areas would be good.
