Lacking

I was really excited to find this app but I am already having issues with set up. It will not let me add foods in the new group I made for fats. So far that is as far as I have gotten. Haven’t put it to use yet to see if it is more helpful than the schedule I am currently using. I was hoping for more food options. The app looks like it has potential and would be a great resource for those of us that need to follow a rotation diet for gut health.

Needs work, but it does help.

This app helps me keep track of the respective foods for each day. It desperately needs a delete button for lists and added food items. I made a list by mistake and now I'm stuck with it… and my OCD stings a bit.

Help!

This app is not allowing me to add foods. When I add the name of the food it won’t let me implement that food until a photo is taken of it. The app won’t let me take the photo. Please advise.

Hi virginiagracie! We hear you! We are going to run some tests on our end, in the meantime, can you make sure you granted permissions to your camera and gallery?

Lots of potential

Hi. I downloaded the app because the reply on the previous review said custom categories were added. These were added to intolerance food list, but I can’t add foods to the category? It is also not possible to add custom food that I am allowed to eat. I can also not review my food intolerance list? Please help. I really like the idea that the app can tell you when the food is available again.

Hi keeplearningdaily, First and foremost, thank you for downloading the app. Now for the problem at hand, the app should allow you to create custom categories from the "Configuration" screen. It will only let you add new food to custom categories though. To add new food just click on the search button and look for the food you want to add, a new option will appear to create your food. We know this is not the most obvious way to do it so we are now working on a better, more intuitive solution. Finally, to review your food intolerance list, you have to go to the configuration screen (the clog icon).  Hope we answered your doubts, we are working on making the app more user-friendly and will release a new version soon.

Not enough food choices

This app doesn’t even include Beef in the protein choices. It needs a lot more variety, and the ability for users to customize their lists by easily adding new foods (perhaps with an image gallery to choose from?)

I wish I could get a refund.

Hi Lemmott, You now have the possibility to add new food by going to the search screen and looking for the new food you want to add, you'll notice a new "Add food" button appears (not the most intuitive but we are working on it as I write this).

Beautiful app, simple to use

This is a useful app, but I hope it will be made more customizable - like adding pictures of your own food items, such as chocolate, coffee (both of which I should rotate, or avoid entirely!). There are also many foods that I do not have access to where I live. They just take up space.

More Categories

Awesome app! Could you make categories such as nuts and seeds, oils?

Yeah!!!!! Just what I need!!!

This app is amazing!!! I’ve been struggling with food sensitivities in and off for over 15 years and this is just what I need to avoid future sensitivities. As a feature request... can you add “fats/oils”? I’m sensitive to safflower, olive, coconut, and soybean oils so that doesn’t leave many options and I don’t want to create problems with the few remaining options like avocado, almond, apricot seed, sunflower, canola! Fingers crossed!

Hi! We are so glad you liked it :) We included a new feature to add your own ingredients to the app although we didn't give it much visibility. If you try searching for a new food and it's not there, you'll see a button to add your own. Let us know if that works for you.

Glad This App Is Available

Hello. I am the first person to review this app. I usually don’t post reviews, but I want the developer to know I appreciate that this app is available. I like the simple design and can see how it will help me rotate foods and will also help me to think of foods I usually wouldn’t consider. At the moment it seems somewhat limited, but I think that is because it is new. In terms of improvements, I would like to see an option to add in foods that are not included in the current selection, such as Honeydew or Cantaloupe or different varieties of fish that are local to me. I would also like to see nuts and seeds added to the app. I’m looking forward to seeing how the app develops over time. Thank you for creating it.
