Charge me even though I canceled
I sent an email on June 22 canceling my membership and didn’t even get a response and they continued to charge me $135 on July 2. Predatory, I will be disputing with my bank do not fall for the free trial.

The app offered a 14 day trial. I signed up and it attempted to bill Me overnight. When I canceled my appointment it kept glitching and I couldn’t submit a comment in the comment section.

Got with them because I was terrible with my finances.
Everything went well until I didn’t pay the fee (I’m terrible with finances). After I switched to the right card for the fee to be charged, they had already closed my account. ( this was my fault not blaming them for this particular part. Howeverrr….)
theyve held my money hostage for like 4 days, I can’t transfer it out, the cards don’t work my money is just sittin there. If my account is closed why has my money not been transferred out already or why was that not an option provided to me to do myself. I tried and it continuously rejects me.
Decent idea, but after havin my money kidnapped I think I will just figure this out on my own…

App is fine, but doesn’t play with other budgeting apps
I like fruitful overall as a service, having a CFP is great and the automations for banking are superior feature that no other consumer bank offers. HOWEVER, fruitful doesn’t integrate well with other budgeting apps. I use CoPilot to analyze my data, and fruitful doesn’t send any transaction details out through Plaid. So all my transactions just read as “Debit” outside of Fruitful. This basically ruins my entire personal finance workflow.

App is so glitchy
The app has been so difficult to navigate. I'm having trouble entering my info and can't move on to the next stage of speaking to an advisor. I hope this is sorted soon.
Buggy app
I hope the coaching is better than the app. I almost abandoned my sign up based on how slow, buggy, and glitchy it is. Makes me nervous that they don’t invest in tech and scared giving them my money.
Life Changing
I have never been able to stick with a financial advisor because none felt like a fit for me. I always had a ton of financial anxiety and I needed someone to hold my hand and teach me the basics and then help me grow. Bri at Fruitful has done just that. I cannot believe no one has set up a system like this until now.

Finally a solution to my finances! Fruitful has amazing tools paired with a dedicated CFP / financial planner all for a flat rate that is a tenth of the price to work with a traditional financial advisor.
Do NOT trust these people with your money
You cannot do anything without emailing their support first. That includes changing bank accounts for transfers, or even changing your profile details. There is no phone support. Just email.
When we said we were disappointed in the lack of ability to self serve in the platform, they abruptly closed our account and said they were going to transfer our money out, but have yet to receive it. They stopped responding to emails as well.

Fruitful is the cheerful solution to my latent financial anxiety. I now have a plan, a feeling of control, better visibility of my full financial picture, and a direct lifeline to a CFP when questions come up. And you can’t beat the 5% APY. Happy to have all this on-the-go with the fruitful app.
