The returns on my investments through Fundrise have been abysmal. I have been trying to get my money out of Fundrise for the past two years. They release only small amounts and retain the majority despite my multiple attempts. I am getting ready to file a lawsuit against these crooks. Keep your money far away from these clowns.

It’s a scam you’ve been warned
Easy to use. I plan on putting $10 a week into both their flagship and income funds and see what happens after a few years! Not my main investment obviously, but hard to pass up the opportunity at such a great entry point.
Having some alternative investments in real estate has been easier in building wealth versus not having anything working so far. With good advisory waivers by saving towards your target goal. I’d say the dividends and appreciation are really nice. I love this app and have been using it for years.
If you were to put a $1000 under a mattress and wait 5 years you’d have the same results. The difference with the mattress method vs Fundrise is that you can retrieve that at any point while Fundrise has a heavy waiting period to withdraw. You’re losing to basic inflation using this
Invested with Fundrise since 2018. Over 8 years, total return is 52.2% (~6% annualized). For over a year I've tried to redeem shares due to unacceptable performance but faced repeated delays and excuses. Even when finally can submit liquidation request, they decide how many shares will be liquidated. Think multiple times before investing, you've been warned.

The app is as useless and unhelpful as the companies CEO and investor relations team.
Invested in here during the pandemic. Just checked it today after not receiving any new emails or updates in a while. After 6 years my account is actually down $1 🤣🤣🤣
I sent in a redemption request for my money and it just so happens they moved it into a different fund so now I have to wait until next quarter to get it. I understand that they aren’t just singling me out but it’s a very frustrating tactic they used to hold onto money for longer. There is no reason they should be shuffling money around that they know we want to withdraw. Very sketchy.

Next app update should include a widget similar to fidelity. Thanks!
They have taken investors money for a future IPO for over 10 years with no out look to actually list or return investment even when requested. Criminal activity
The app interface works well but the overall performance does not. I’ve held my investments for nearly 5 years. It seems to fluctuate even when REITs are going up & the real estate market great. Plus I can’t just liquidate when I feel like it. I believe it’s end of quarter only. I do not recommend whatsoever, sorry

I’ve been a customer for 5 years and some change. Initially seemed fine until I went to pull my money out. I expected there to be a bit of a lag time (several months), but it has now been a year since I’ve been trying to pull my funds out and I’m being told there’s no end in sight for when my funds will be available are “paused” while they complete a merger. The customer support has been absolutely atrocious, it’s impossible to get in touch with a real person and when you do it’s only via email and they can’t give you any answers. Avoid this platform like the plague.

For letting 3k sit for years and only getting pennies to my dollars in returns I’ve been in the redemption process for almost a year now and might just open a new bank account so I don’t get charged a fee every year for having an account they can technically force to stay open. Best place for your money is where you can control it which is not with fundrise.
